In this episode of Sounds of CSL, we speak with Ann De Leon from MLCS within the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta. Ann incorporates CSL into her courses, such as SPAN 441: Reading Colonial Culture. For this class, CSL partnered Ann's students with University of Alberta Library to decipher archived documents and translate them into Spanish.

In this course, Tiana teaches students that aging has socio-cultural aspects and aims to dispel the myths about aging. Partnered with various nursing homes and senior community groups, CSL students get the opportunity to interact with older adults.
