Ceci est un morceau de la piste sonore de CUBIK, un jeu vidéo (fictif) dans lequel le joueur parcours un univers de voxels et de rayons électromagnétiques. De niveau en niveau, le joueur découvre de nouveaux environnements immersifs et progresse au coeur de la troisième dimension dans le but ultime de déjouer l'Hypercube, cette entité maléfique venue d'une dimension supérieure et dont la présence menace désormais la stabilité de l'univers.

This is a tune from the soundtrack of CUBIK, a videogame (fictional) in which the player explores a world of voxels and electromagnetic rays. From level to level, the player discovers new immersive environments and progresses through the heart of the third dimension with the ultimate goal of countering the Hypercube, an evil entity from a higher dimension that now threatens the stability of the universe.

"The seventh release from the local label Vivacity Music is by Cubik, a DJ and producer with years of experience and a co-owner of the label.

 Cubik's EP titled Life With A Glass Half Full features five original tracks. Although these tracks vary, they share a common goal of creating a good mood, whether listening or dancing.

The first two tracks, Reckless 90s and Nanny Watch, are peak time house tracks with dense beats, basslines, punchy synth sounds, and euphoric breakdowns. Reckless 90s is a nod to the rave culture of the nineties and is somewhat inspired by Kink's production. Nanny Watch is more relaxed with a nice piano line and a summer atmosphere.  These are club house tracks as they should be!


The third and fourth tracks, Rise Up and Faun’s Late Afternoon, are both melodic and slightly melancholic deep house with sweet synths and vocals somewhat in the spirit of Norwegian labels like Prins Thomas's Full Pupp or Internassjonal. Faun’s Late Afternoon, or in Czech Faunovo pozdní odpoledne, also includes samples of the unforgettable voice of the actor Suchařípa from the legendary comedy of the same name. The EP concludes with the track Alive Dubby Dub, featuring a dreamy chill atmosphere."

Cubik has been actively DJing since 1995 and is actually one of the longest-playing DJs in Czechia.
His DJ music style has obviously varied over the years, but currently, his DJ sets balance on the border of dance styles: deep house, balearic house, nu-disco, tech house, simply freestyle house with an emphasis on positive vibes.
As a natural progression flowing from his passion for music, Cubik gradually has become a music producer with numerous remixes and releases to his credit on both international and their own Vivacity Music label, which he runs together with his DJ mate, DJ Da Moon.

With its location right in the city center, reasonably priced drinks and good quality sound system, our friendly houseboat-turned-club would be one of the „not to be missed" places in Prague by its own (come on, who doesn't love partying on a boat?!). Bukanyr, however, offers much more than that. Our parties are run by the top Prague and international DJs who cherrish their residency and musical freedom our club offers. We got summer terrace on the upper deck with all-day bar, barbeque and foosball tables. We screen movies and introduce live band shows. Above all, we are one of the few places where you can still experience that legendary Prague vibe that has been drawing people from all around the world to the city since the early 90's.
