We're stoked to welcome Monger to the GF series. The talented producer and label owner runs the lauded Dead Channel Records and podcast series that is based in Kentucky. It boasts releases by L/F/D/M, Tans, Chris Mitchell, LostSoundBytes, Ccciclo, and many others as well as his own. The multi-talented individual designs all visual aspects of the label and works with the production and engineering duo Keith and Kevin. The label recently hosted a label night here in Amsterdam with Bertram and Acidic Male to celebrate the release of their EPs this year which included Charlton and marienus on the bill. Lock in for an hour of raw and rhythm-driven electronics with tracks by Morah, Elena Sizova on Sons of Traders, Broken English Club, TV.OUT, and others.

Decomposition is a mix series by Dead Channel. Fig. 18 comes from M PARENT, and is a live modular set from a practice session prepping for Detour's Hot Mass in January 2023. The Philadelphia based producer latest releases have been on Acid Camp and Sons of Traders. In his own words "Over the course of the last two years I have been challenging myself to build a modular system that allows me to create basslines, atonal melodies, and patterns on the fly...where the machines play me just as much as I play them." Tune in for a taste of this raw, boomed out madness full of dirty acid, ominous tones, and hard hitting rhythms.

Mastermind of the avant-garde label and podcast series Comme Des Larmes, RUMORE is a curator, selector, and producer of pioneering experimental music. He lands on Dead Channel with a slow and deep mix, cultivating spectral, hypnotic soundscapes and uncompromising chugging rhythms in this psychoactive slow burner. 

Recently recorded live in São Paulo, Brazil at a Comme Des Larmes event.

This is goodbye, for now.

After having gone several years without having been able to work on new music, I will hereby officially put the project "NORTH EXIT" indefinitely on hiatus.

But because I'm massively grateful for all of you who have listened to, enjoyed, bought, downloaded, shared or otherwise interacted with my music over the years, I didn't want to put this to be bed without first giving something back.

This album consists exclusively of previously unreleased tracks that I made over the years but that never saw the light of day for one reason or another. It's a mixed bag in terms of style, sound and, I won't lie, even quality. But I hope that those of you who have enjoyed my previous releases will still find something on here to enjoy as well!

Tracks 01 - 18 are synthwave, comparable to "Synthetic Emotions" and "Nightrunner" whereas tracks 18 - 25 are, what I would call, dark synth in the vain of "RABID TECHNOLOGY". A bit like A and B sides on an LP.

So again, thank you, everyone, for all the engagement, the love and the nice messages I received from you all over the years! I can't put in words what it means to me that so many of you enjoy...  more
