Inspiration had to be channeled somewhere  so, I created my own version of one of their iconic tracks called Like It Or Not. Mercury Retrograde finished last night and I could not wait to share this with all of you!! :-)

The 162nd edition of GVR comes from Brooklyn-based DJ & producer and Cityfox Resident Brian Cid. His original productions have found homes on a number of the most credible and tastemaking record labels, with a style that touches melodic techno, deep house, progressive house and more, with no boundaries whatsoever.

Brian’s debut album "Meteorite Man" has been released on the legendary label Balance Music, alongside his original productions that can be found on imprints such as Fabric, Audiofly’s Supernature, Guy J’s Lost & Found, Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound, Get Physical, microCastle, Manjumasi, Cityfox and more. Support on his music has come across the board from both longstanding DJ legends, as well as the new wave of club tastemakers. Everyone from Richie Hawtin, Pete Tong, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Lee Burridge, and Joris Voorn, to Adriatique, Dami an Lazarus, Thugfucker, and Tale of Us have championed the sounds of Cid.

Never one to be content in his accomplishments, the next chapter in the musical journey of Brian Cid is the recent launch of his project Endangered: a deep journey to the eclectic side of electronic music. The Endangered concept is both a record label for Brian to showcase his own music as well a s other high-caliber artists he respects, but also an event series that combines music with live performance & art. With Endangered now in full throttle, the label is set to release "Light In The Lotus" EP, the return to the label from founder Brian Cid at the end of May 2019.

Julian Cardona es un Deejay, músico y productor electrónico, Licenciado en música de la Universidad de Caldas, quien inicia su formación desde el año 2005. 
Su interés por el House music lo llevó a entrar de lleno en el mundo musical fusionando el arte Deejay con la creación de música electrónica en vivo. 
Su primer lanzamiento oﬁcial fue para el sello independiente y australiano Exit Row, subdivisión de Vacation Records y propiedad del Dj Bass Kleph en el año 2010 y de allí en adelante continuó su trabajo de composición para sellos independientes de la escena electrónica de baile colombiana. En el año 2014 crea 
su remix oﬁcial de la canción Blanco Y Negro de la Banda colombiana radicada en los Angeles, Palenke Soultribe. Pasó un periodo académico de mucha formación, lo que lo llevó a su vinculación como Docente de Audio Digital y Electroacústica en la Universidad de Caldas y a la creación de los programas de música electrónica para Batuta Moog Caldas. En el 2016 deja su papel de Docente de la Universidad para dedicarse de lleno a su proyecto musical llamado Julian Cardona, desde entonces no ha parado de presentar composiciones originales de música electrónica en vivo y sesiones en formato Deejay híbridas utilizando diferentes instrumentos como acompañamiento. Baterías electrónicas y acústicas, teclados y gran variedad de samplers e instrumentos digitales por medio de  controladores midi. Actualmente posee una gran cantidad de material en modo Promo que esta preparando como futuro lanzamiento.
