We proudly present Remixes Volume 1 - a mini compilation of diverse remixes from artists that we greatly respect who were invited to dive into our back catalog and choose a track to remix.

DAWL reworks Suddi Raval's 'Visual' into a brooding electro cut with a superb acid twist, making the very most out of the original elements to put his signature sound to the track. Catchy hooks and haunting strings combine to create a spaced-out dystopian landscape straight out of science fiction legend.

Borka FM skilfully uses the parts to take the project into 2 different directions and delivers 2 mixes: the Acid Remix sees the Hanover based producer create what he is perhaps best known for under this alias- a heads-down Breaks dancefloor monster....while the Deep Remix is just that- a more thoughtful and musical approach perhaps closer to his Borka & The Gang alias. A highly skilled producer- both cuts are destined to find favour.

Modes works his magic and delivers a slice of Jungle frenzy! He takes the sparse elements from the original and fills out the track with clever edits and frantic Amen breaks, capturing the raw energy of the dancefloor and rounding off our remix package in style.

Cloud City is a new crew launching a Bay Area Hi-Fi Vibes, Zero Proof party for those interested in something different and pure of sound and heart. I had the privilege of being one of the first chosen to launch this incredible adventure into playing music where the theme is "Play what you aren't able to play out to crowds normally." While I definitely would play some of these tunes out, it's not often I would get to - lots of indie dance and swirling melodies/beats in and out of all dance genres. When Balearic Burgers john asked me to knock up a mix for londons Loose fm radio i thought mmmm something a bit different is needed here. I’ve always been a fan of breakbeat music in all its guises, from oldschool funk, rave D&b, jungle and broken beat, stems from my upbringing with mum and dad’s love for funk and disco no doubt. The blends in this mix are short, as you have to be careful it dosent sound to busy. it spans 35 years with music from 1990 with djumm djumm right up to last week with Eli Escobar. Enjoy

TRIP I: Whispers of a daydream

Hello friends, after receiving such nice feedbacks on my ‘Guest Mix with Yunus Guvenen for John Digweed’s Transitions Podcast’ and ‘Summer Breeze’ set; I was motivated enough to explore on a new venture. Some of you may be familiar with my SelfSoul series. Here goes the latest one for your listening pleasure.✨ Compared to my club sets; this one is more of an individual affair. Here I combined the tunes that I really appreciate and mostly play to my close circle. Managed to mix them the best way possible complimenting each other. Some of the mixes turned out to be mash-up like which I especially intended to achieve. Not  specific genres, not the generic hype, not the trends. Indie infused electronica, deep breaks, house and even some garage&basement sounds keeping it eclectic and ecstatic. Many thanks to the artists for such inspirational and timeless music. More than 25 years experience in the scene, Barish is the former resident of three time International Dance Music Awards 'Best Podcast' nominee show 'Crobar BoraMusic HouseCast'. Always looking ahead, he strives to break boundaries with his genre defying variations, building up a dedicated crowd with well-crafted performances all around.
          
	Barish is a dedicated music lover, and an established dj. His passion for music began with his long escapades into the world of R'n'b and Soul at a very early age. While studying architectural engineering at the University of Hartford, his mad nights during the early times of Twilo made him fall in love with electronic music and its performance.

        During 2000’s; after winning a mixing competition held by New York City’s DJ Mark Divine;  Barish secured himself two local weekly residencies at the Leopard Lounge and Liquids. Sharing the booth respectively with Mark Divine (D3) and Julio Terra (MuzakTherapy).

        After returning to his native country , Barish quickly became a resident at Turkey’s most prestigious clubs such as Crystal, Nuclub and Underground. During this time Barish has become one of the principal member DJs of the highly regarded “Together” crew notably comprising international house talents such as Yunus Guvenen, Subsky, & Muzo B. His evergrowing ‘Wet’n’Juicee’ nights at NuClub had been a landmark for house music lovers, not to mention his opening performance for François K at Istanbul’s Surmeli, an extended set at Dinamo’s Radar Live Festival and his performance at Ultra Festival After Party in Miami Music Conference with names such as Paul Oakenfold and Hernan Cattaneo during mid 2000’s.

       Barish has been DJ’ing with a pious dedication since early 2000 and his hard work is felt in his key mixing abilities and exceptional track selection. He is known by his friends as one of the most disciplined and motivated Dj in the country, nothing can tear him apart from the booth not even a broken leg! His blend of unique sounds, unprejudiced genre defying variations and rather hypnotic approach has caught the attention of IDJ magazine, which commented his set with great review in the Readers’ Mixes Section on May 2003 issue. Barish has started to host for 34 BPM shows on the internet’s leading dance broadcast Proton Radio after his brilliant guest mixes and his sets also appeared on selected radio servers such as Mercurysessions, Musicserver.uk, Frisky, etc.

      Barish has performed around the US and eastern Europe during mid 2000’s including;

      Barish and Muzo B’s collaborative project, a Digweed favorite “Adequate Medication”, was first spotted at Sasha&Digweed Coloursfest ’03 radio set and released on December through Red Flag Collective, a record label he started with Yunus Güvenen, Subsky and Muzo B being responsible for label's promotion and also working as the A&R Coordinator along with Subsky. Barish and Muzo’s other monstrous project ‘Intra-Venous’ took place on Digweed’s September ’05 Chart and got released through their digital platform.

      Barish has also worked as the music director at Istanbul’s independent electronic music station Dinamo 103.8. He ran three different weekly shows called Section, Wet'n'Juicee Sessions and LOW, shaking the airwaves from 2002 to 2009.

The stuff of Norse folklore and with a brilliant mind undulled by over two decades of raving, despite his greatest efforts, POoK is as confident deploying bangers from his studio as he is storming dance floors with his inimitable mix of relentless beats and vivid melody.
 
Inhabiting a harmonic ecosystem from inception, he has spent a lifetime gathering inspiration from artists as diverse as: Hawkwind, Hendrix, King Kurt & Fred Wesley and the Horny Horns – and from genres ranging from punk, break beat, psychobilly and acid house.
 
With solid foundations hammered into the cold, dark, granite of the Welsh Mountain free party scene, his musical journey has seen him stick to roads less travelled and choose to remain in the darker realms of the sub-terra.
 
Initially concentrating on carving out his space as a DJ, organic growth from the 90s rave scene and through early progressive house - it was then that breaks became a real thing.
Fully embroiled in the scene and never content to simply exist, it was during this time (circa 2000 onwards) that his much lauded brap.fm radio show “The Beatroute Sessions” received regular nominations for “Best Radio Show” at Breakspoll. With breaks his chosen rhythm for nearly a decade it was not until 2010 when he rediscovered techno and prog-house that his focus switched back to 4/4.
It was with this move across to driving beats that also came the decision to hone his production skills – PS1 Music Maker made way for Logic which was then switched for Ableton and rather than selling his soul for quick fire success, spent time diligently putting in the hours to learn and craft the exceptional skills he holds today.
 
Now certain in his sound and ability to consistently deliver; initial releases including “Lola” (Dino Audio) have seen huge support from the likes of Dave Seaman, Davide Squillace, Aly & Fila, Paride Saraceni, Danny Tenaglia, Paco Osuna, Cid Inc, Solarstone, Soul Button and many more. Since then releases have come far and wide with a recent signing to Hollens label - Prospect Records plus EPs on Krafted, Nightshift, Dino Audio as well as Meat Katie’s label Lowering The Tone Records.

To take things a step further, POoK has launched Red Giant Recordings which has seen a string of top ten releases and achieved a number one on Beatport in the techno charts.  
 
With regular bookings across the UK and as a central figure in Brighton’s inspired, underground, electronic music scene; POoK is a rising star with sights, much like his beloved techno, set firmly on the future and all that his hard graft and undeniable talent will bring.

Claas Reimer from Düsseldorf is active as Producer and DJ since 1992. Mainly focusing on Tech House, Electro and Techno his sound is driven by Science Fiction, jazzy influences and groove in general. At the same time stilistically flexible from filigree minimal up to energetic rave sound.

Back in the early techno days he released on No Respect Records, Virtual Recordings and Important Records. This was leading to plays in Sets from Steve Mason, Sven Väth und Pascal Feos as well as licenses to several successful compilations.

During the time releases from different projects and remixes have been added on Basstard Records, V.I.M. Records, Rune Recordings, Deep Garnet Records, Diesel Recordings, Mad Music Recordings, Mecanoplastica Records, V.I.M. Records and many more. From the beginning of 2011 he is also running his own imprint CLSRM Digital.
