No, The Helmut Bergers aren't hiding from anything. It's always present in the band's name and also in their live performance: a mixture of arrogance, bravado, a can-do attitude, total collapse, and gutter glamour. Wonderfully suited to songs that, with their seemingly effortlessly crafted melodies, are never short of hooks, choruses, and little sound ideas.

Understatement meets pathos, boredom meets restlessness, and everywhere there's that twitchy melancholy that belongs to the aftermath of every euphoric night of partying.

They neither view the kids as lost, nor garnish the shattered pop promises with cynicism. Rather, The Helmut Bergers succeed in the paradox of viewing and pursuing pop music with a very clear and seemingly serene perspective, as something that, despite much opposition, still deserves to be believed in. Glamour, as we all know, doesn't exist without drama, decay, decadence, and dirty underwear. Everything else is bling.

Most people like the time of sunfall, its light and colors in the sky. Ambient music can be fitting for these moments, but with this track I tried to capture, when the sun goes down and the evening with friends starts.

Steve is part of a small group of Musicians who can be Considered as pioneers that founded the global Goa/ 
Psy trance movement 

Steve has DJed multiple times in every corner of the globe including nearly every country in Europe Inc, Portugal, Serbia’s, Greece, Germany and Switzerland to name a few, also world wide inc USA, south Africa, South America , Russia, Canada and Israel. 

Steve has released over one hundred Goa trance records over three decades which started in 1992 when His best friends from school Dino Psaras and His Brother Andy Psaras ( Andy was also the label boss of atomic records ) brought a cassette tape back from Anjuna, India.

With joti sidhu they went on to make there first Goa Tracks under the name of Ayahuasca in 1993 releasing a track on one of the first ever Psy/Goa compilations order odonata vol 1 on ( Dragonfly Records ) and four tracks on the first concept in dance compilation ( XL recordings) which was produced by their good friend Martin freeland “aka Man With No Name” , And Also a Remix of Rise on Perfecto for Superstar Dj Paul Oakenfold.

Steve And Dino went on to create the Band Cydonia producing their first solo track Brilliant Pink and then releasing the Iconic tracks Animals and shambala with Martin Freeland , Steve and Dino went on to Produce tracks at Butterfly/Dragonfly studios with Legendary Israeli producers Avi Algranati, (Space Cat) Ofer Dikovsky (Oforia) and Marko Goren (Tandu) realising under the name Phreaky And Tripster with Avi Algranati (space Cat) All Released on the first goa label dragonfly records owed by youth, other collaborations Include B.E.T.H with German producer Tim Schuuldt.

With these early Iconic releases Steve and Dino caught the eye of Psychedelic Goa Label Blue room records and were signed to Blue Room As Cydonia alongside Iain rive. And produce a host of singles and the Infear of a red planet album. 
           
Steve Ronan, Dino Psaras and Andy Psaras and John Martin then went on to run and become label bosses of world renowned psychedelic Label “Atomic Records” working as A&R choosing all the tracks which appeared on this record Label including the ground breaking compilation “ Kiss The Future” Legendary Artists contributed on Atomic records including Man With no name, total Eclipse, Psychaos, Voodoo people, Tim Schuldt, Eat Static ,The antidote, Cydonia, Phreaky etc

Steve is also known as rokuro music and releases music for USA Hollywood and tv series Inc Marvel

Whereas his own dance music journey began in 1991 when he joined production forces with 2000 and One to form ‘Edge of Motion’ and release ‘Set up 707’. That ultimate acid house classic marked the beginning of an impressive discography of more than 100 releases, highlights including his 2009 EP dance slammer ‘Surface’ on Bitten as well as his 2010 remix of ‘Air Miles’ with 2000 and One that flew them up the Beatport charts to claim the number one spot with Amsterdam’s new school sound.

Although living in the Dutch capital, some of the hottest techno and techhouse labels that have become his 2nd home include 100% Pure, Remote Area, Bitten, Noir Music, Mobilee Records, Great Stuff Recordings …… And with remixes for a whole bunch of iconic friends such as Axwell, Christian Smith, Roger Sanchez, 2000 and One, Rainer Weichhold, Gregor Tresher, Underworld and Bob Sinclar – there’s clearly a lot of justified hype for Madskillz tunes and treatments.
