Berendt’s Nada Brahma series investigates the principle that the world is sound, blending spiritual traditions, science, and world music. His work offered listeners—and especially young audiences, thanks to these audio sessions—a profound experience of sound as the origin and essence of reality, demonstrating how attentive listening connects us to universal harmony.

The book "Nada Brahma: Die Welt ist Klang" by Joachim Ernst Berendt was first published in 1983. The original audio version was created as a two-part radio feature, first broadcast by Südwestfunk in Germany on November 28, 1981, reaching a wide audience and later leading to the publication of the book. The audio versions were subsequently released on cassette (K7) in the 1980s and later on CD and digital formats.
