In diesem Special bei Carl-Auer Sounds of Science sprechen wir bis 8. September 2025 jeden Montag mit Michael Bohne, mit dem Team hinter PEP basics und mit einigen PEP basics-Trainer:innen über die praktischen Bildungsziele und – last not least – über die positiven Erfahrungen mit PEP und PEP basics in unterschiedlichen Anwendungsfeldern und in den Aus- und Weiterbildungen.
Im heutigen Gespräch erläutert Stefan Fischer an konkreten Beispielen, wie Kinder und Jugendliche mit PEP ganz konkret und sofort unterstützt werden können, besonders im Kontext Schule. Man muss nicht warten, bis Kinder und Jugendliche therapeutische Hilfe aufsuchen (müssen), sondern kann PEP bereits da anwenden, wo Selbstregulation und Empowerment direkt gefragt sind. Unter anderem dafür steht PEP basics als Fortbildungsangebot für Lehrer:innen und weitere pädagogische Fachkräfte.

Stefan Fischer ist Systemischer Supervisor/Berater und Fortbildner und nutzt immer wieder Instrumente von PEP. In seiner vorhergehenden jahrelangen Arbeit als Schulsozialpädagoge hat Stefan Fischer PEP sowohl Grundschüler:innen als auch Erwachsenen sehr wirksam anbieten können.

Michael Bohne, Dr. med., Facharzt für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie, ist der bedeutendste Vertreter der Klopftechniken in Deutschland und hat diese entmystifiziert und prozessorientiert weiterentwickelt. Hierbei hat er die Klopftechniken um psychodynamische, verhaltenstherapeutische und hypno-systemische Diagnostik- und Behandlungsaspekte bereichert, woraus eine neue Psychotherapie- und Coachingmethode Namens PEP® entstanden ist. Er ist Autor und Herausgeber zahlreicher Bücher über Auftrittsoptimierung, Selbstwert, Klopftechniken und PEP. Gemeinsam mit Gunther Schmidt, Bernhard Trenkle und Matthias Ohler (Carl Auer Akademie) hat er die Tagung „Reden reicht nicht“ ins Leben gerufen, die 2014, 2016 ,2019, 2022 und 2025 mit großem Erfolg stattgefunden hat. Ferner wurden durch seine Initiierung und Unterstützung die weltweit ersten beiden fMRT Studien (Hirnforschung) zu den Klopftechniken und PEP an der Medizinischen Hochschule Hannover (MHH) durchgeführt. Aktuell (2025) wurde eine klinische Wirksamkeits-Studie zu PEP bei mittelgradigen Depressionen abgeschlossen. Weitere Studien zu PEP bei Depressionen und zu PEP bei chron. Schmerzen sind in Planung. Stefanie Kirschbaum setzt als Psychologin und Coach PEP® seit 2016 täglich ein und ist begeistert, wie wirkungsvoll sich das Klopfen auch im Schul- und Kitakontext zeigt: Emotionsregulation und Selbstfürsorge gelingen leichter, das Selbstvertrauen steigt. With more than 15 years of experience in making music and as co-founder of Profundo Collective, he has carved out a space for deep, hypnotic explorations that move masterfully between nuance and vigor.

Noah Lyas reflects on the recording process with striking authenticity:

“During the summer, it gets so hot in my attic studio that making music is almost impossible. Even in the evening, with the windows open, it’s hard to stay focused and attentive while composing; only warm, heavy ambient pads come into being, with crickets providing the rhythm.

This mix was recorded just after all those hot days, when the temperature was finally low enough to dance in the attic again, and to feel what it’s like to be active. It begins calmly, flowing slowly, until the first low notes become possible after which it spills over into rhythmic steps. Just like the transition from those sweltering summer evenings to the creation of this set.”

A fluid journey that rises gently from ambient depth to grounded rhythmic flow, echoing the passage from heat-induced stillness into motion, presence, and dance.

A little surprise to ease out of the summer and reminisce on the beautiful weekend we had at Monument Festival. I’m truly grateful for all the positive feedback I’ve received, and like many of you, I also felt the need to revisit this journey. 

Since there were some latency issues with my monitoring during the set, I decided to re-record the original tracklist to share this moment together as a sonic memory.

As a third-year visitor of the festival, I can safely say that my musical journey wouldn't have been the same without all the inspiring artists I have experienced at Monument. It has expanded my horizons in such a deep and valuable way, and it felt only right to reflect that journey in my set.

The mood I wanted to creat was an excursion over "Planet Monument". A bird's-eye view of the utopian place, shaped by many different sonic qualities that together form the festival we all love so much.
