Eric J. Turman | Polymath Alchemist creates music as modern poetry; sometimes heavy and confrontational, sometimes quiet and meditative, always layered with emotion and philosophy. He writes and produces across a wide spectrum: from metal-edged protest anthems to jazz-fusion landscapes, ambient piano nocturnes, and long-form experimental works.

His songs face the hardest edges of human experience; grief, mental-health struggles including depression and thoughts of self-harm, survival, paranoia, and the corruption of power—while his instrumentals offer moments of spacious reflection and exploration. He also re-imagines well-known works and playfully emulates other artists, treating style itself as a canvas.

For Eric, genre is a palette, not a boundary. Whether composing commissioned pieces or deeply personal reflections, his music is a mirror held up to both the world and the listener: at times mournful, at times furious, at times serene, always searching for meaning in the space between despair and hope.

I have been on the road pretty much full time touring my music for over 10 years now. I still continue to seek new adventure and build upon the hard work I've already put in (I'm not one to take the easy way round). Having toured almost every country in Europe, Iceland, Japan, Australia, USA and Canada (to name a few)u
I mainly play my own material, which comes from a variety of sources and inspirations from Punk, Hardcore, Blues, Jazz, Country blues, Experimental music, Heavy Metal and even Electronic music (good music is good music right?). I'm just a massive music fan of all sorts and want to reflect that in my own out put. I'm not very keen to be boxed in as a song writer or certain style. Each album has a different take on myself and the music is very much written from the heart about subjects I either am interested in or personal experiences.

SINCERE IMPOSTER writes, performs and/or produces a curious mixture of New Wave, Dance, EDM, Folk Rock, Metal, Art Pop, Electro, Dreamwave & Experimental World Pop. Collectively, it's a genre known as QUIRKPOP --- Music that makes you say, "What the hell is this?"

The band currently consists of two members, both living within the same body, sharing a similar existence. They identify as Danielle & Dave. They are both psychologically and musically confused. However, both are extremely and unapologetically sincere. 

Influences include Weird Al, Nathan Fielder, David Lynch, Rosalia, Monatik, Atarashii Gakko!, Rammstein, T-Pain and T-Swift. Their favorite inventions are the vacuum and the peach pitter. Their father is simply known as Vessel... who may be an entity or a god.
