We learn how to share our faith in Jesus Christ as risen Lord in a rested way from the apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 2-4. We learn to recognize where the true power to persuade comes from (God, and not us). Knowing how God saves sinners gives us, not rest from sharing our faith, but rest while sharing our faith. "The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life." "God gives the light of the gospel." "The power resides not in us, but in God."

Dudley Anderson was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. After graduating from Bible College in 1990, God opened the way for Dudley to branch out into Christian radio. As a musician and worship leader he developed a heart for Christian music, which became the main thrust of his radio work in South Africa.

At PBC our longing is that people encounter the Lord Himself. 
We regularly pray that someone who joins us will be drawn to some inescapable conclusions:

“God is really among you!”

“Look how you love one another!”

And that after ministry their sense would be that “God did that!” This leaves us dependent upon God because ultimately it is about whether He does this or not.

We are passionate about the “finished product”, which ironically is something that will never be finished in this life. That “product” is not a big congregation or a new building or great services or a profile in the community. The “product” is ultimately personal and concerns who and what we are becoming. We believe that we are on this earth to discover, live out and pass on what it means to be whole-hearted followers of Jesus.
