Mousetrap is the first single release of rising vocal artist and triple threat Luci Fossil. It is about overcoming obstacles and traumatic events on your own. The song captures the pattern we all so easily fall into, of getting stuck in the the boxes and labels that friends and family place on you from a young age. Refusing to be fragile, small, and weighed down by the actions of others, the mouse in this story takes a journey upwards. Demanding more and more and more. Finding the strength in her voice, and confidence as a young women, she is finally able to open a new door all on her own.

the original demo of my song 'slut era'.  it’s rough n raw as i wrote it. i wrote the song and made most of this demo on a long-haul flight, then recorded vocals and bass when i got home. i wanted the drums to feel like Meg White. i wanted the chime to feel like an old broken-down music box. i changed some of the lyrics for the album version ("hyper-romantic highlight-reeling ‘til i crash into the ceiling, too far gone to see it through, i’m tangled in my own lasso" is one of my favourite lines i’ve ever written - a later addition) but the original lyrics have been left in this demo version. they were inspired by comments i got on tiktok from mean men and something a boy said about my best friend at a party once when we were 16.

Nicolas Bonadio is a Berlin-based multi-instrumentalist musician, composer and producer.

He has extensive experience as a touring musician, recording and producing various bands and working on TV, contemporary dance and Film.

He studied piano and composition in France from an early age, then started to record himself in his first home studio at 14 years old.

After graduating with diploma, Nicolas pursued to develop his own style more.
His vast panel of influences led him to discover and master multiple musical genres, including – and somewhere in between – art rock, avant garde, retro-futurist and neo classical music.

Nicolas creates unique sounds by experimenting, playing and using instruments, objects, or anything inspiring. He combines his recordings of real instruments with electronic sounds, mixing them in unusual ways to create unmistakable sound worlds, abusing his studio gear, and works in a complete hybrid fashion of analog and digital equipment.

Always searching for new musical inspiration by blending different sonorities, Nicolas is always looking for more collaborations.

He recently worked with different artists like Andrew Claristidge (Record Makers/Paris), Pyrame (ThisBe Recordings/Berlin), H.L.M (Ombra International, Milk Me/Berlin), Koudlam (Pan European Recording/Paris), Great White Shark, Le Chiffre, Couple Sympathique, Incredible Luck, Adrian Bang, Fine Affair…
