My first car was a 1958 Willy's CJ5 Jeep. I spent a year rebuilding it with my best friend Jack. I put on a roll-bar, a vinyl top (called a bikini top), rebuilt the engine, did a bunch of body work on it and replaced the heating system. I loved that car. It had 3 forward gears and 2 reverse (power take off unit on the front for the winch system). I drove it up to Maine and down to Maryland.

We scraped the rust, we patched the frame, till our hands were black with grease
When that old flathead roared to life, it sounded just like peace

I write songs about my community in Western MA, Science, Nature and the Nature of Things

For many years, I’ve been recording classic country cover songs and uploading them to YouTube. I’ve covered all the greats, including Merle Haggard, George Jones, Trace Adkins, Gene Watson, and others. However, I’ve always been disappointed with my own vocals, as I’m sure many other songwriters have been forced to admit.

Recently, I discovered a hidden passion and talent for songwriting. However, the recent surge in artificial intelligence (AI) has presented me with an unexpected opportunity to launch a completely new and exciting career at the age of 70. I’ve written every song on this playlist. With the help of AI I’ve been able to create remarkable vocals and musical scores that perfectly complement my songs.
