To Zanarkand - Final Fantasy X (piano)

The party reaches the Mi'ihen Highroad after surviving the attack at Luca. The highroad has a very relaxed pace until the very end with the boss battle with the chocobo eater at the end . I wanted to capture that carefree pace the highroad has.

Mi'ihen Highroad

After arriving at Mushroom Rock Road the party meet with Maester Seymour once again. Seymour tells them of a plan to confront Sin nearby. The attack on Sin fails , resulting in heavy casualties. Auron tells Tidus the truth about his father. He is Sin, the news troubles and confuses Tidus as he thinks about his relationship with his father.

Mushroom Rock Road

The home of the Guado , which are kind of like the Final Fantasy X version of elves. The guardians of the farplane which is like the Final Fantasy X of heaven. Seymour proposes to Yuna which causes tension. They visit the farplane and see Yuna's parents, Wakka's brother and Tidu's mother and consult them about the next leg of the journey. The team must now cross the Thunder Plains in order to reach the Temple of Macalania to give Seymour Yuna's answer and continue her pilgrimage.

Guadosalam

Macalania is one of my favourite areas of the game because the story starts to go mad here. The frozen forest of Macalania is a dangerous area to pass through before reaching the temple and praying for the Aeon, Shiva. Along the way the party is attacked by Rikku's brother. He and the other Al Bhed are trying to put an end to the tradition of the summmoner's pilgrimages to save their lives. After the fight with Brother (his name is literally just  Brother) we head to the temple and confront Seymour about his fathers murder which up until now only Yuna knew about. They try to bring Seymour to justice but he resists and the party is left with no choice but to kill him.  As Yuna's Fiance and one of the government officials that she answers to , Seymours murder causes trouble for the group going forward leading to them all being branded traitors.

Macalania

Zanarkand is the last on the list of normal FFX locations. It's the culmination of everything we've done so far.  The party arrive in the desolate landscape of Zanarkand and take time to rest and figure out a plan going forward. They fight through Zanarkand and find Lady Yunalesca who has been here for 1,000 years helping people defeat sin. She has a big speech about how the rebirth/destruction of Sin gives people hope, and without her hope will be lost. The main characters dis agree and the battle against Yunalesca starts.

I’ve remixed 'Besaid Island' from Final Fantasy X into a lo-fi beat. Growing up, this was one of my favorite games. I remember watching the opening cinematic as a kid and instantly getting hooked. I hope you enjoy the vibes!
