It would seem that there was something in the water in Italy during the tail end of the 70s and the beginning of the 80s. We recently highlighted this via our recent Free Download artist, but another Italian artist who is just as influential is Francesco Farfa. Incredibly, he was already a working DJ by the early 80s and that was before the age of electronic music. This just meant when the advent of drum machines dawned across the music spectrum Francesco was already armed to the teeth with skills honed playing funk and disco when early proto-house began filtering through to Europe. Farfa , credo ... e senza aver timore di dire una cazzata... 
e´ uno dei dj piu´ talentuosi al mondo.... sicuramente e´ sul podio Italiano, ma tecnicamente...in tutto il globo, sono in pochi a saperci fare come lui... mai banale... mai scontato.... riesce ad ammaliarti, per la versatilita´che ha dietro la console... sia con 2 piatti (o 3) , che con qualsiasi supporto digitale... e a volte con entrambi... uno dei pochissimi italiani , ad aver girato il mondo solo grazie al suo talento... son riuscito ad ascoltarlo  gia´ all´ inizio dell´ anno ..e come sempre e´ stato uno spettacolo!! La cosa che apprezzo di piu´ di lui... e´ che , ogni volta... e´ un set diverso e una continua sorpresa!! Qui , come special guest ... al Diabolika... uno dei party piu´ famosi Italiani , di musica House Elettronica!!!
Farfa, I think... and without being afraid of talking bullshit... 
he is one of the most talented DJs in the world.... he is certainly on the Italian podium, but technically... throughout the globe, there are few who know how to do it like him... never banal... never predictable. ... manages to enchant you, for the versatility it has behind the console... both with 2 decks (or 3), and with any digital support... and sometimes with both... one of the very few Italians, to have traveled the world only thanks to his talent... son managed to listen to it already at the beginning of the year...and as always it was a spectacle!! The thing I appreciate most about him... is that, every time... it's a different set and a constant surprise!! Here, as a special guest... at Diabolika... one of the most famous Italian parties of electronic house music!!!

Valerio Vaudano is our special guest this week on Traxsource LIVE! Valerio has been active in the DJ scene since the early 2000s, and his passion for House music has evolved over the years, but he's always been rooted in deeper house grooves and textures while also drawing from minimal and Detroit techno. Valerio has his own imprint Steamy Pizza Box, which is and outlet for his 90’s Italo-house and classic Chicago sounds. He’s also releasing recently on Bang It!, and Cinthie’s 803 Crystal Grooves Collective Cuts. Today marks his debut though on Soulfuric Deep, with the EP ‘It’s Gonna Be Hot’ featuring 3 deep groovers that need to be in any underground DJ’s crate. The full EP is out now at Traxsource!
