My new track "Acid Workout" is out on this amazing VA - Acid Mutants by STALL on Soundblasting Records.

I wrote this track back in June 2023 specifically for my Natarja festival live set. By that time, I was starting to go regularly to the gym and actually liking this whole workout thing, so the track, as its name suggests, is pretty much inspired by crossfit, weight lifting, and cardio. And if you think about it, dancing to a high BPM psychedelic track isn't only an act of meditation but also a really nice cardio workout.

When it comes to sequencing this track, I heavily used three synthesizers: Pigments by Arturia and Vital by Matt Tytle for the majority of the structure, and for the contrast element, which in this case is a smooth squelch, I used the MicroFreak by Arturia with its super silky SEM-inspired filter.

Born in the deep heart of Damascus Syria, Sami aka Ollie, started his musical journey at an early age. playing the guitar and listening to classical music. Despite his love for his instrument, he knew deep inside that there was something more to music, that he had yet to discover.
In 2011, Sami was introduced to electronic music , instantly sparking his curiosity. He quickly got into experimenting with synthesizers, discovering the vast sonic possibilities they offered.
The year 2015 marked a turning point in Sami's musical journey when he encountered psytrance within France's underground scene. Instantly, he fell under its spell. He knew that this is what he was looking for in music and quickly got into producing it.
