Deux batteuses et percussionnistes improvisatrices, originaires d’Argentine et de l’île de la Réunion, unissent leurs tambours traditionnels et mélangent leurs cultures pour fabriquer un grand corps
percussif, la “tambourinarella”. Fabriquée sur scène sous les yeux des spectateur-ices, elle questionne l'univers sonore et la relation au rythme. Elle fait dialoguer le corps et le tambour, l'émotion et le son. Elle invite aux cris, aux rires, aux respirations ... coup de coeur assuré !

"Boulevard Heloise: Movie Soundtrack" The journey begins with a piano's dreamy introduction, evoking a serene ambiance that beckons the listener into a world of quiet reverie. As the piano gently plays, sustaining strings add depth and richness, setting the stage for the clarinet's entrance with a delightful melody that carries the listener forward, like a companion joining in a leisurely stroll.
As the music unfolds, the quartet guides us deeper into the narrative of "Boulevard Heloise". A lonely walker meanders along the boulevard, each step echoing with pangs of the past. The clarinet’s melody weaves through the air, capturing the delicate interplay of memories that dance like shadows beneath the street lamps. It tells a tale of nostalgia and longing, drawing the listener into the heart of the scene.
The cello, with its warm and resonant tone, eventually takes up the opening melody, offering a new perspective on the initial theme. It speaks to the walker's inner journey, each note a reflection of the turmoil and yearning that define his path. The exchange of melodies among the instruments mirrors the evolving reflections one might experience while traversing the boulevard's storied paths, where every corner and cobblestone is imbued with echoes of days gone by.
Amidst the gentle embrace of strings, the music embodies a subtle melancholy, reflecting upon the passage of time and the contemplation of life's fleeting moments. The cello's haunting strains echo through the air, capturing a nostalgic mood that lingers in the heart. Yet, just as a stroll through "Boulevard Heloise" can inspire moments of quiet introspection, the music concludes with an unresolved harmony. It leaves the listener suspended, inviting them to ponder the endless possibilities that lie beyond the boulevard.

Heloise and Abelard - Letter 2 - Married Love and Religious Life - Sadler's Lectures

This lecture discusses key ideas from the sequence of letters between two great Medieval intellectuals, lovers, and religious Heloise D'Argenteuil and Peter Abelard

It focuses specifically on the third letter, which is by Abelard. It discusses Heloise's proposal that although they have taken monastic vows, they can rightly enjoy some married life together through writing letters to each other, and Abelard's rejection of that suggestion. He tell her that they both must turn to God and make Christian perfection their goal, even if that means leaving their amorous relationship behind, and he tells her that by his own confessions, he intends to change her love into contempt or hatred for him.

She explains what emotions she experiences, and the despair she feels about their situation, and then discusses the conflicts within her heart and mind that stand in the way of genuine and consistent repentance on her part

Back then or: those colors! The little plastic organ. The big surprise is that it has scratches from No Wave and residue from post-gaffa. Héloïse represents this punk derivative without worn-out guitars, perhaps sounds like it was back in 1983 - but not as if nothing had happened for forty years. The Zurich musician Sabina Leone is behind this trick, her name is Héloïse. Héloïse sits at her drums and sews percussive patterns with scraps of fabric from the off. Send me a techrider, but that can't explain the magic. Sabina Leone doesn't have to explain anything either: On the move since 1993, thirty years of everything happening and always one music in her head - in Italian with Sorelle Leone, in crossover and spoilage with Wemean, back when still called a women's band. Now all Héloïse!

In 2014, I successfully composed and publish a ballet “Dreams Interrupted” choreographed by Trinette Singleton, a former Joffrey Ballet alumna and artistic director at the Repertory Dance Theater in Allentown, PA. 2020 Successful Call for Scores
At the end of 2020, I submitted a chamber music composition "The Shores Of Phoenicia" for clarinet & piano (Adapted from Phoenicia Symphonic Suite op.35) to the Allentown Symphony Orchestra’s Call for Scores: New Music Series Chamber Music. My submission “Moroccan Spices” for Violin and Cello was selected to be performed live on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, as part of the concert of The Allentown Symphony Orchestra – New Chamber Music program “Food & Flavors”.

Recent Ballet compositions:
“Cubist Dances – Ballet Suite in 5 Dances.”  Themes inspired by Picasso’s painting “Les Demoiselles d’Avignon” and other cubism era artists, written for Chamber Orchestra (Woodwinds, Strings, and Percussion) for 23 – 28 musicians – orchestral score composed with Steinberg Dorico.  Orchestral Mock NotePerformer about 18 minutes long

The Ballet flows across five cubist dances bringing to life this technical ballet. Strong rhythms and seductive melodies spice up the scenes.  Tango and Bossanova themes in Dance No.2 & No.5 bring out the Latin magnetism of the cubist area.

The Red Bench Ballet (Pas de Deux) for Cello & Piano.  A short love story stage around “The Red Bench” about 4.5 minutes long

Starry Night - Cello Sonata (Cello & Piano) Ballet inspired by The Starry Night Painting by Vincent van Gogh and his turbulent state-of-mind to be performed at the Museum of Modern Art in NYC with live Cello and Piano or Keyboard.
