11 tracks originally released on the indie dance label GOMMA RECORDS between 2001 and 2010. (Gomma was the label Toy Tonics did before starting Toy Tonics.)
Along with DFA and Output records Gomma released a wild mix of electronic dance music, indie rock, underground disco, post punk and new wave funk that was big in the 2000s. The Y2K sound!

Gomma released music by artists like Peaches, Whomadewho, The Rammellzee, James Murphy, LCD soundsystem and artists like Nick McCarthy of Franz Ferdinand.
Now it’s 2024 and it feels fresh to put a spotlight on some of these tracks again. 
And so here comes a 2nd compilation part of Gomma tracks:
Nancy Whang the singer of LCD Soundsystem, WhoMadeWho (the band started their career on Gomma), Italian disco producer Bottin, UK Indie Disco hero The Deadstock 33s aka Justin Robertson, NY Disco hipsters In Flagranti, German producers Munk and many more on this compilation.

Chunga Chunga journey begins!

Deserted Island brothers delivering their first EP with a full spectrum of organic electronic sounds."Chunga Chunga" formed with three originals and a very eclectic variation of remixes by Matias Aquayo, Fabrizio Marmmarella and In Flagranti.

"Katunga" fresh straight 8ths based groovy tracks with vocals in their own little pretty language. "Melancholic yet optimistic! It's a mental space where the mind goes to tickle itself" - how they describe their debut single. For the remix duty for this jam was picked Chilean legend Matías Aguayo and his tribal swing interpretation.

"Yne" is filled with optimism and sun. No one can't denied that it's made for summer. "Yne that friend of yours, always seeing the bright side in any situation" - meet the bestie of the brothers. It comes with an old fashion remix by In Flagranti which takes you to 70's New York.

Last one of this pack is "Grange". Nobody knows what it means, so we ask boys from the island for an explanation. “Grange e divadi asi” - in our language it’s like an anxiety attack, but in a good way". Psychedelic funk at its best for the closing of the EP. Dance version by Italian finest comes by Fabrizio Marmmarella.

Better late than never to drop this mix with a xmas themed track near the start to ring in the season.  Don't let the silly name, and artwork fool you.  This mix is chalked full of fire house, and electro sounds from current years, and the golden years of electro house. 

Down The Chimney

In the summer of 2024 Sasa & I outlined the idea of creating two albums from the heaping mass of new tracks we produced in the previous year.

We would make an album called “Sliver Jubilee” to celebrate the 25th anniversary of In Flagranti. And then we were to do a follow up album called “NoTown Hit Factory”.

“Silver Jubilee” was to be a commercial album with proper promotion and a toned down approach targeting a broader audience.

“NoTown Hit Factory”; the second album, found us back in full swing creating something profoundly offbeat musically and visually for our fans who expect nothing less from us: just like we always have for these last 25 years.

So enjoy the bumpy ride through filth & loathing filled sounds & imagery that we are profoundly and perhaps for now, perversely proud of.

A fresh new edit from your favorite duo! This time we’ve put our own spin on “Kachi Kachi”, a track by In Flagranti featuring Japanese-American artist Ayakamay, originally released in 2017 on the New York label Codek Records.

Based in Patagonia, Argentina, with over 30 years of international experience, Marcos is a musician and producer delivering an organic blend of earth rhythms and futuristic soundscapes, providing a unique experience for the audience, in which emotions flow and the body becomes a vessel for transformation through dance.
With a long term experience performing Ecstatic Dances in Esalen and Harbin in California, Troncones and Cozumel in México and now on his new residence in Lago Puelo, he creates a deep connection between the elements, the different chakras and particular healing frequencies, with the purpose of navigating out of resistance into ecstasy.
His extended sets feature an array of world music and live instrumentation, that allow a multicultural audience to blend into one single organism, that expresses emotion through motion.

THE TOY TONICS JAMS
Since 2019 we organize the Toy Tonics Jams to spread our Toy Tonics style and vibe. They strated in Berion 2019 and since 2022 they take place all over Europe.
In clubs like Panorama Bar (Berlin), 
Phonox (London), Rex (Paris) and at festivals like Kala, Melt Festival (Berlin), Montreux Jazz 
Festival, Calvi on the Rocks a.o.

Okay, okay. Quick history backstory.  Drums as a child, and through his 20's.  Turntables, and loads of vinyl before entering the digital realm.  Nick has been busy with all that noise for two and half decades.  Growing up on rock, grunge, 90's electronic, hip hop, and everything in between rounded out his senses for music, and what appealed to him.  A taste ever evolving leaving him playing house, techno, minimal, acid, downtempo, and breakbeat.  Now with over 20 years of experience you can expect great track selection, crowd reading, and flawless mixing.  This journey has seen him play in cities through Western Canada, and with larger acts from abroad including the likes of Mark Farina, Tipper, Kevin Yost, James Teej, Pezzner, Dirt Crew, Detroit Swindle, Noah Pred, Rob Paine, and many more.  

After spending many years as a key part of Left Coast Crew in Victoria BC as a DJ/Promoter, he is back In Saskatchewan where he started this journey. The new vision is to rekindle his old connections and push his promotion brand The Motive To Move (TM2) to new heights, and entertain as many party people as possible.

In Flagranti (Sasa Crnobrnja & Alex Gloor)

The duo has always made a great case demonstrating how “inspiration” from the creative works of others can truly be made into something new and totally distinct from the source material.  But whether you know the source material bears major influence on what their interpretation is going to even sound like to you.  In other words, you could be hearing the same song as another listener is, but if you’re familiar with the source material, you’re going to also be hearing that, while someone who isn’t familiar with it won’t.  Most of their listeners have no idea this is even going on, or could even be allowed.
I figure I follow In Flagranti quite closely, but I only make a connection here, or a connection there.  Sometimes this happens immediately, other times it’s taken years to notice.  Most connections I will never even be aware of, and I don’t listen for them, they just stand out to me or they don’t.  Sometimes I only discover the source material long after I’ve been familar with In Flagranti’s take on it, which you’d think would detract from the latter, but for me, it only adds to it.  In Flagranti’s musical interpretations show a certain ethic and a philosophy that parallels their approach to visual content.  It’s so “meta” that I’m at a loss to describe it, except to say what I often do:  Warhol would be In Flagranti’s biggest fan if he was around to witness them. – truckerdisco.wordpress.com
