Mani Schmah is a Franco-Gabonese music producer, beatmaker and the creator of Electropical — a vibrant fusion of electronic music and tropical rhythms. His sound blends rare samples, tribal percussion, organic textures and hypnotic grooves, offering a sonic journey across continents and eras.
A self-taught artist with a passion for digging and reworking, Mani started by flipping old funk, afro and bossa nova tracks into fresh and powerful edits. His remixes and original compositions quickly caught attention on social media, where he shares his creative process with humor and authenticity.
His breakout track "Figue de Guinée", a smooth and sunny bossa nova-inspired anthem, has surpassed 3 million streams on Spotify, becoming a defining piece of the Electropical movement.
With the album SAWASSA, Mani deepened the exploration - sampling vintage African songs from Meiway, DJ Arafat and Awilo Longomba, while showcasing traditional instruments like the Kenyan harp and the Bwiti bow from Gabon.
The result is a raw and colorful tribute to African heritage, blended with modern electronic vibes.
Driven by a desire to make people dance and connect, Mani has performed in bars, clubs and music events in Gabon, Israel and France, bringing his unique sound to the underground scene.
Now he keeps expanding the world of Electropical — a genre full of bass, soul and sun.
