Hi ya! Again been some time, obviously work and school. Very busy, yet managed to slip some time making tunes, aside from gaming lol. Downloaded some sounds to my plugins, rarely used any piano sounds in my music lately. Holiday season is around the corner, can't wait. Sampled from Carlos Simon’s Fate Now Conquers. Listening to a performance of this live was an incredible experience and I would like to share my favorite part. Lately, heavily inspired by the work of Ben Frost, Tim Hecker, and William Basinski, I have found it interesting to mangle orchestral music both more technically in Ableton and, in the case of this track, loosely in a live setting utilizing modular Eurorack equipment.

Straight off the back of LTX004, we return for the fifth instalment on Lane Trax. A cosmic bound energy charged release, Galaxy Lane takes us into the vortex with a journey through dark mysterious baselines, other worldly synths and a twisted telescopic depth of effects.

Down the tools and aboard the spacecraft, as ‘Morning Notes’ brings a juxtaposition of growling bass on the low end to cosmic drift like trails floating through the ether above. With glacier like synth work, this is a journey to be immersed in. 

Fly the craft back and you have ‘Layers’. At full throttle it picks up the pace no end. Choppy effects, dark synth work, all set over a brooding bass line, this one’s not for the faint hearted.

Two tracks, both in typical Galaxy Lane style, raw and uncompromising. LTX005 has landed.

i go by the artist alias caaverrn. i’m 24 and based in north america. i'm a classically trained musician of over 10 years with a primary focus on violin and a secondary focus on piano. while pursuing my bachelor's degree in music, i've found a therapeutic outlet in composition and have been composing since early 2020. my music is mostly classical with a modern twist—think ambient piano works inspired by the greats. 

my composition environment usually involves me using my keyboard, musescore, and logic to bring my ideas to life. i enjoy all kinds of music, and whatever i’m listening to usually has a huge effect on what i end up composing. i hope my music brings a sense of peace and reflection, allowing you to connect with your emotions and find solace in the sounds. i’m super grateful for anyone who stops by my page.
