LO - Live Trance

A live track with my Roland SH-4D and the Samplr app on iPad.
I composed the whole track using the SH-4D, then played around with some modulated vocals in Samplr just for fun.

As always, it’s not about perfection — just experimenting and enjoying the process.
And yeah… playing drum parts on the SH-4D isn’t quite as easy as on the TR-8S 😅

This track is a bit of an experiment and the first recording I’ve made with my new Sequential Prophet REV2—hence the title.

The workflow was pretty hybrid: I had the Eurorack sequencing the chord progression and controlling the filter on the REV2. For the textured layers, I ran the synth signal through Mutable Instruments Beads and a Qu-Bit Bender, pitched them up an octave, and wove them in as small snippets.

The rest of the soundscape comes from an ATOM (Antumbra’s Elements clone), while the bassline is a simple patch on Plaits modulated by a few LFOs.

Recorded in one take with just a little EQ and compression added in Ableton. Hope you enjoy it.

In 2023 I got inspired to start making music myself for fun and that sent me on a journey of exploring which medium I enjoy playing and ended up with a eurorack modular case made for playing live. Intersection of Minimal and Hypnotic Techno.

My setup is built around the Roland TR-8S, SH-4D, iPad, and Ableton, in search of altered perception through rhythm.


A sonic exploration of the endless possibilities of modular synthesis. From abstract textures to hypnotic drones, these sounds are born from intuition and experimentation.

all songs are performed and recorded in one take (mostly on my Tascam model 12). 

my approach is based around a modular synthesiser ( 2x Arturia rackbrute 6U with a total of 352 HP) mounted onto a Arturia Minibrute 2s. polyphony / paraphony comes from Dave Smith Prophet rev2, Arturia Microfreak and Op1 field. for effects pedals I use endorphins golden master and chroma Console from Hologram electronics.
