The origin of this project dates back to 2015, when the transmedial art concept began with a
small A/V festival “Electropia: Art, Space, and Sound.” at mo.ë vienna, Austria. It was when the
idea arose to publish a conceptual record. Ten years later we are here.

‘Wiener Wasser V.A.’ is a four-track concept album blurring the lines between pulsating
rhythms, distorted noise and ambient field recordings. It presents contemporary sound artists
Programmverdichter, RENT and GLAST who live in Vienna and reflected on the element of
water and its properties. 

The sound, in its nature similar to water and light, offers a ‘snapshot’
into an invisible inner world of waves – the unique wavelengths, amplitudes, frequencies and
phases. Oscillating soundscapes, spectral resynthesis for a rich layering of textures and
rhythmic patterns offer a deep journey through the sound. Mastering by Nino Sebelic.

The cover artwork features a luminogram by light artist Annika Hippler from her series DANU in
which she has incorporated water from the Danube river. In 2019, Annika Hippler lived and
worked in Vienna.

Funded by SKE/austromechana.
Vinyl includes a text inlay/small poster, sticker, DL code card.

The sounddesign to an editorial video project called "RENCONTRE"
I made the big soup of ambience with some Erica Synth Modules, which I sent through a physical plate reverb. The arpeggiators was made on the poly-D synthesizer, and also sent  through the physical plate reverb.

The whole thing was made without clock/bpm/matching to grid just purely based off the vibes which I then later kinda regretted ;))

This week’s Friday Techno Drop is “MODULAR FEELS”, a deep, evolving journey into raw analog sound. Built around modular synthesis and acid bass lines, the track pulses with the gritty charm of classic underground techno.

A heavy kick and textured low end drive the momentum, while layers of modular tones shift and reshape like circuitry in motion. Midway through, the chaos softens into a moment of emotional clarity—a gentle guitar melody opens the space, only to dissolve into a hard trance drop with a revving bass that hits with full force.

Mechanical, melodic, and unapologetically human - this one rides the edge between introspection and impact. Hope it resonates. 🖤🔧

MODULAR FEELS

Bin Khalid Sonic Pollution has been releasing a variety of eclectic music from from Kenya since 2002.  BKSP is a story of the junction of 2 musical paths -  one through the rocky, indie underground of the Nairobi City and one through re-imagination of traditional music from rural “shags” of Kenya.  Obsydian Media is a sub-label imprint dedicated to the Heavier output of music from this synthesis.
