MSDMNR is the eponymous Berlin-based label from veteran artist Miro Pajic that has featured many of his own works as well as remixes by Adriana Lopez and Krenzlin.

@Mutecell has a 10 year production history and includes releases on Quant, Natch and his own Mutewax. Here he makes a long-awaited return to MSDMNR after a superb remix in 2013.

MSDMNR's own back catalogue includes appearances on labels such as Ricardo Garduno's Illegal Alien, Kaiser's K S R, Portugal's HAYES collective ran by Temudo, Nørbak and VIL and DEAD CERT. Records.

Expect to hear raw, hypnotic techno with modular licks and jackin' analogue elements...

After a 7-year hiatus, Mauritian techno producer Mutecell is back in action with his first full-length LP, ONAC!D. Releasing on his brainchild, Mutewax, the album fuses Mutecell’s trademark style, greatly inspired by Berlin, with nostalgic memories related to the Mauritian club scene.Although Mutecell’s soundscapes are usually driven by a mixture of analog sounds and repetitive robotic rhythms in the golden 130-140BPM range, he does not limit himself to 4/4 peak time bangers and showcases his range through tracks like the slow-burn breakbeat track “Gris Gris”, the rhythmically syncopated “Orion’s Fear” as well as dub-sounding harmonics on the closer, “Kas Poz”. Rest assured as the album is still filled from front to back with what Mutecell does best: dark hypnotic slappers.

Mutecell reminisces his path through the Mauritian scene by naming the songs after emblems of the local culture such as names of iconic nightclubs
and venues. This represents the crux of the album: the symbiosis of Berlin techno and Mauritian club culture is the identity of this producer.

Higher Realms invites Mutecell the Berlin-based techno alchemist and founder of Mutewax. Known for crafting immersive sonic journeys that fuse driving rhythms with cosmic atmospheres, Mutecell stands at the intersection of raw emotion and hypnotic energy.

Originally from Mauritius with formative years spent, his global upbringing deeply informs his sound. Each set is less a performance and more a ceremony: a precise, narrative-driven exploration into hypnotic rhythm, industrial textures, and the emotional edges of the dancefloor.

In 2014, he founded Mutewax, a Berlin-based label dedicated to high-quality underground techno, featuring artists like Urbano, MSDMNR, CØMPASS, Hector Oaks, and Denise Rabe. Mutecell's own releases such as "Cursed" , "Vimana" and "Gris Gris" embody his distinctive blend of cinematic atmosphere and hypnotic depth. His 2023 full-length album ONAC1D marked a powerful return after a seven-year hiatus, reaffirming his role as a vital voice in the global techno underground.

Dj and producer Mutecell (Kevin O’keeffe) was born in the tropical island of Mauritius of Anglo-Irish ancestry early years where spent in Botswana and Mauritius. At the age of 17 he left the island to live in London where he spent 2 years mixing in small clubs and connecting closer to the underground world of music. 

In 2005 and started to make his name and own parties on the local scene.He was much in demand in the new clubs and events as his own particular style and music taste grew in popularity.Mutecell has played alongside djs such as Joseph Capriati,Radio Slave, D,Julz and more to mention.Mutecell has been producing and remixing under his name in mid 2012 just after his move to Berlin where he now lives and holds a record label in partnership with Synthek & Audiolouis.
