Jeffy's Corner: You Just Can't Be Upset

At the age of 15 a Westmeath woman was self-prescribing, which was the start of an addiction that lasted 16 years. Caroline was suffering with mental health issues and says that the drugs were the only thing that made her feel good. Caroline, who is a member of Narcotics Anonymous, has been speaking to our Head of Current Affairs, Sinéad Hubble: 

Narcotics Anonymous meetings take place in St. Columb’s Barracks, Mullingar every Thursday at 8pm and 6pm on Sundays.

One Is Too Many

I relapsed off and by doing so I had to go to a detox center where I wrote this this actually just happened. But point is I had been convicted by my thoughts and not being honest until I had no choice by being tested...which I am grateful it happened and I’m continuing my program had to start my clean date over after almost 6 months but it’s ok I’m happy regardless....any ways hope you enjoy the message..thank ya!!!
