Nostalgia is a thing that influences our cultural creation and consumption today, but nostalgia is also how Drum & Bass finds a way to reinvigorate itself, and M-zine expresses this feeling immaculately. M-zine’s work is meticulous and transportive. He is an artist plucked from the deepest depths of Drum & bass music, and taking influences from genres like Techno, Hip-Hop, Soul & Funk, M-zine has carved his own niche in the Drum & Bass scene.
M-zine started his journey as a Drum & Bass producer in 2011 with Proximity Recordings with two funky releases in Peristaltic and Riddance. His first Vinyl release came in 2012 with Swiss-based label Demand Records. Endings, a hypnotic low-end roller was heavily supported by some of the heavyweights in Drum & Bass like Doc Scott, Skeptical, Spinline, and Loxy.
M-zine’s watershed moment as producer came in 2013; when he saw his music being released on labels like Dispatch Recordings, 31 Recordings, and Warm Communications, with a special mention by Tom Yorke’s “Pissing In The Wind On A Monday” for his release on 31 Recordings.
With big releases on labels like Dispatch Recordings, Commercial Suicide, Critical Recordings, 31 Records, a thumping release with Belgian trio Bredren that topped the Beatport charts, one LP plus several EPs and singles on Sofa Sound Bristol, and an EP coming out on Subtitles Recordings, M-zine has comfortably registered his name as one of the finest producers in Drum & Bass.

Nostalgie heeft vandaag een grote invloed op onze culturele creatie en consumptie, maar nostalgie is ook hoe Drum & Bass een manier vindt om zichzelf te vernieuwen, en M-zine drukt dit gevoel perfect uit. Het werk van M-zine is nauwgezet en transportief. Hij is een artiest die uit de diepste krochten van Drum & Bass is geplukt, en met invloeden uit genres als Techno, Hip-Hop, Soul & Funk heeft M-zine zijn eigen niche in de Drum & Bass-scene ontwikkeld.
M-zine begon zijn reis als Drum & Bass-producer in 2011 bij Proximity Recordings met twee funky releases : Peristaltic en Riddance. Zijn eerste Vinyl release kwam in 2012 met het Zwitserse label Demand Records. Endings, een hypnotiserende low-end roller werd zwaar ondersteund door zwaargewichten in Drum & Bass zoals Doc Scott, Skeptical, Spinline en Loxy.
M-zine's keerpunt als producer kwam toen hij in 2013 zijn muziek begon uit te brengen op labels als Dispatch Recordings, 31 Recordings en Warm Communications, met een vermelding in Tom Yorke's "Pissing In The Wind On A Monday" voor zijn release op 31 Recordings.
Met grote releases op labels als Dispatch Recordings, Commercial Suicide, Critical Recordings, 31 Records, een dreunende release met het Belgische trio Bredren die de top van de Beatport charts haalde, een LP en meerdere EP's en singles op Sofa Sound Bristol, en een EP die uitkomt op Subtitles Recordings, heeft M-zine met gemak zijn naam geregistreerd als een van de fijnste producers in Drum & Bass.

With a foundation in conscious music and a passion for  storytelling, His work carries both an inner frequency and outer message.
