Get ready to press play on Club Mackan's latest release: Vapor Games by Brandski. Hot on the heels of A Promise In The Cold Night, LVCA returns to Bordello A Parigi with The Wanderer. Building on his diverse and unique style, genre cross-pollination sits at the heart of this four tracker. 

Renowned for his analogue live sets, LVCA’s passion for the machine smoulders on this EP. Acid, electro and new beat are central tenets, with the synthesizer taking centre stage. A litany of influences is drawn upon. 

Crashing snares countered by bright bars, melodic swirls threatened by machined vocals, drum rolls and key stabs marking shifts of intent. Speaker cones conjure late night basements, darker shades churn and melt in the fog and strobe. And throughout, genres and styles converge. 

Chicago house thaws the frigid severity of wave, italo echoes offering a distant warmth against colder tones taking hold. A 12” that illustrates the dynamic depth and the vibrancy of a true talent.

LVCA - Opium [Bordello A Parigi]

The fifth release in the catalogue of Neo Disco by producer MonoSix from Pelotas (Brazil). Throwing Punches is a mix of modern Italo Disco, Synthwave and Indie Dance using classic 80s pulsating bass, catchy synth melodies and vocal samples. The release also includes a remix by label founder Cortex Power.

Paris-based producer Mattyuzalem makes his debut on Spain’s rising & shining label Burning Synths with “Italo France,” a vibrant five-track EP blending nostalgic and contemporary electronic flavours. The release showcases the artist’s knack for merging retro Italo Disco motifs with modern French House sensibilities, anchored by driving basslines and shimmering synth work. Alongside Mattyuzalem’s original productions, the parcel includes dynamic remixes from Alphanova and Roglar, offering fresh perspectives on the source material. With its cross-border sonic palette and collaborative spirit, “Italo France” solidifies both the artist and label as ones to watch in the global dance circuit.

The standout moment arrives with Roglar’s rework of “Rain Man,” a track whose title may nod to Barry Levinson’s 1988 cinematic classic. While the original leans into shadowy but upbeat Progressive House grooves, Roglar catapults the track into a neon-lit, Italo-meets-Trance dimension. Layers of arpeggiated synths spiral over a pulsating bassline, building toward euphoric crescendos that evoke late-night warehouse raves and ’90s Trance nostalgia. Roglar balances retro aesthetics with crisp production, amplifying the emotional core of Mattyuzalem’s blueprint while injecting kaleidoscopic energy. It’s a remix that feels both cinematic in scope and irresistibly dance-floor-bound – a fitting tribute to its potential silver-screen inspiration.

Osccurate - ManiquÍ (Jason Core Remix)

Avi Sakorka's music draws its essence from the legacy of the rave and acid scenes of the 90s. Inspired by the raw energy of these eras, his compositions oscillate between EBM and Dark Disco.

His music is characterized by deep bass, powerful rhythms and dark atmospheres, creating an almost dystopian atmosphere but resolutely dancefloor-oriented. A true introspective journey, where each pulsation makes dancing while evoking dark and deep emotions.

The artist Laion, Amsterdam-based, signs a remix perfectly inspired by New Beat and immerses us in the world of Belgian raves of the 90s. A powerful, captivating, transcendent remix.

Aural Trace makes a striking debut on Melopee with a sound that’s both driving and emotionally rich, weaving together threads of New Beat, Post-Punk, Italo Disco, and Techno. The result is a moody yet energetic blend. Dark, introspective, but lit from within by cinematic flashes of light.

"Beyond the Horizon" kicks things off with a raw, physical energy. A pulsing bassline and relentless rhythm propel the track forward, while soaring synths and spectral melodies stretch the edges of the mix. There's a cinematic tension at play here, where the spirit of classic Italo is pushed through a darker, modern lens.

Radondo connects the dots between Italo Disco, EBM and experimental rock within his productions. Incorporating subtle nods to post-punk and dystopian cinema, the UK-born artist creates a map of his influences, weaving compelling narratives in the process. 

The Berlin-based artist has built a versatile sound within the Italian Dance Wave movement, garnering a swift reputation for his take on the genre. His progressive DJ sets have seen him quickly become a prevalent figure within Berlin's scene, playing regular slots at venues such as Renate and becoming a resident at the revered Slow Motion Records parties. With a steady run of releases on labels such as Wrong Era, Discotexas, Ritmo Fatale and Fucanglong Files, he merges arcane soundscapes with ethereal, analogue synth lines illuminating ever-growing sonic threads.

As a remixer, he has gained recognition for his captivating consistency and support from the greats. He has remixed the likes of Senor Chugger, Justin Strauss, and Moullinex, tying in a fascination with the darker realms of Italo Disco. Radondo creates a compelling atmosphere filled with tantalising nostalgia through forward-thinking production and energetic selections that have lit up dance floors from Vilnius to New York.

K. Torpela is a DJ based in Kouvola, Finland, navigating in darker, mutated disco-esque soundscapes. Having a long and versatile history with electronic music, he has developed a signature style of his own, a retro futuristic soundsphere where different timelines collide. 

His track selections consist of Indie Dance and Dark Disco, strongly influenced by Italo and New Beat of the 80's, with a touch of EBM, Acid and Techno. The sets are often focused on a gloomy atmosphere; powered by thrilling synth action and heavy, groovy basslines. The mood can be mysterious, melancholic, hypnotic, depending on the narrative.
