Polaris is delighted to launch its new series called ‘Friends’. The concept is simple: we invite an artist to prepare a series of tracks that they will interpret in collaboration with the artists of their choice. For the first chapter, Darlyn Vlys offers us four dancefloor killers, co-produced with AFFKT, Damon Jee, Panthera and MMYYLO.

The story begins with the duo Darlyn Vlys and Sincopat boss ‘AFFKT’, who bring us ‘Axo’, a audacious, avant-garde track with hard-hitting rhythms and energetic synthesiser hook, offering epic breaks that call on auditors to discover uncharted horizons.

With ‘Padreams’,French duo Damon & Vlys deliver a track that exudes darkness, its high-energy bass rising in intensity throughout, while the robotic vocals provide an electrifying. Get ready to shake!

Then we have Panthera and Vlys teaming up on ‘Dust’, an introspective track that reveals a rare complexity with its dreamy harmonies and sparkling arpeggios. A composition that takes the crowd on a thrilling rollercoaster ride of emotional experience.

We close the adventure with another French alliance: MMYYLO & Darlyn Vlys present ‘Reflektion’, a gloomy track brimming with energies as raw synths intertwine with infected vocals to culminate in an energetic drop that's both catchy and mystic.

Antoni Maiovvi is an artist like few others. “Knights of New Haven” summarises his unique ability and unparalleled range. 

This return to the Bordello reflects the influence of the West Coast Sound of the Netherlands as well as that machine music of his adopted home of the U.S. “Later Not Lately” bends bars above a throbbing kick, hi-hats ruffling the clean arcs of string. Echoes of Chicago and Detroit penetrate the EP. 

Melting melodies fold and oscillate under the crashing cymbals of “Slack Blabbath”, staggered synthlines jolted by tight percussion patterns. A brother-in-arms opens the flip, Danny Wolfers drafted in under his Legowelt moniker to turn his magic to “Later Not Lately”. Undulating undertones are sliced by serrated snares before a sordid TB303 is unsheathed, Wolfers’ soulful and squalid retelling of the original. 

“The Madness in the Method” closes. Fizzing static blurs drum patterns, a taut note piercing the dense bass fog. Teetering between the profound and the profane, Maiovvi pivots his horror disco trademark sound with driving house drums and devil-may-care grandeur. An EP of epic proportions.

Epicure Records is thrilled to welcome Palestinian artist Sarv for his debut on the label.

Based in Haifa, Sameer, aka Sarv, is a producer, DJ and visual artist with a sound as enigmatic as it is powerful. 
As the founder of the Deviousco collective, he draws from a rich tapestry of cultural traditions, primarily from the East blending genres such as dark disco, techno, trance, and EBM. His music transcends conventional club sounds, becoming a visceral, bodily language of its own.

For this release, Sarv was inspired by the mythical figure of Sirance, a hybrid being born from Greek mythology and Islamic cosmography, as described in Zakariya al-Qazwini’s Wonders of Creatures and Strange Things Existing (13th century). 
A creature whose breath flowed through twelve holes in his nose, creating melodies so hypnotic that no one could resist. Sirance embodies an ancient fascination with music, voice and their supernatural powers, seductive, wise, or maddening.

Sarv offers his own sonic and visual interpretation of this legend through a mesmerizing track that weaves mysticism, tension and sensuality. He also created the artwork, a direct reflection of his unique inner world.

Known for his releases on pioneering UK label Nein Records and for his collaborations with international artists such as Curses, Nesa Azadikhah and Baalti, Sarv continues his musical and spiritual journey and we’re honored to have him aboard.

Espacio Cielo presents “Synthetize”, the latest creative statement from Spanish producer Calystarr, whose previous outings on Burning Synths, Logical, Emerald & Doreen, and Melomana have demonstrated his ability to craft electronic music with both immediacy and depth. This four-track collection finds the artist refining his approach, offering two original cuts that blend nostalgic synth work with contemporary club sensibilities, plus remixes from Size M and Gameboyz (SXDNS061) that reinterpret the material through their own distinctive lenses. Aural Trace makes a striking debut on Melopee with a sound that’s both driving and emotionally rich, weaving together threads of New Beat, Post-Punk, Italo Disco, and Techno. The result is a moody yet energetic blend. Dark, introspective, but lit from within by cinematic flashes of light.

"Beyond the Horizon" kicks things off with a raw, physical energy. A pulsing bassline and relentless rhythm propel the track forward, while soaring synths and spectral melodies stretch the edges of the mix. There's a cinematic tension at play here, where the spirit of classic Italo is pushed through a darker, modern lens.
