I made this track using Cubasis! I used my midi keyboard and beat pad that my husband, Oarber got me to compose this track and mixed and mastered it myself manually. I decided to name this track The Lace Moth because moths are already gorgeous insects to me and also they stand for transformation, rebirth, intuition, and the connection between the seen and unseen worlds. Which is all I'm about in this new sober journey I'm on since I've been sober for 2 years now. I'm also on a new musical journey since using a new and more advanced app and wanting to make my music more uniquely me. This track goes out to anyone going through growth and a new journey whether it be newfound sobriety or a new spiritual journey or finding something a hobby you love and becoming great at it.

This beat came about from when I bought a new plugin called Kontakt from Native Instruments. This plugin lets you create a wide array of sounds. I chose the organ sound because it has a wide frequency range and could help me evaluate the strength of the plugin. The drums were done with Battery.

Hello and welcome! My name is Selena aka Kanahala born April 16th, 1992 I'm Puerto Rican, French Canadian, and Black and I'm just here doing what I love which is composing emotional high-quality music/making beats in every genre for anyone that may need to hear some inspiring and original music there's something for everyone no matter the genre I make music in all🎶 I have added an orca to my brand due to me trying to make killer beats and also just what orcas stand for which is strength, community, family, wisdom, protection, and resilience and I feel a connection to them and also loved the ocean growing up and nature. They are misunderstood and I could relate with them. If I could make enough money making music I would like to be able to help marine life and the orcas. I've been doing music for over 15 years now and grew up listening to all genres rock/industrial being my personal fave, and I'm still learning more production techniques! I learned how to play guitar and piano when I was a kid and in middle school I learned how to sing as well as learned how to play the drums and used Pocketband first in 2010 to upload and create beats then came here since this was another place to showcase my music and being indie, I could have the freedom to post my music and my creative processes. I used to show what I look like, but because I didn't like the unwanted attention I decided to recreate my brand that just focuses on my artistic abilities.
