Push Away The Pain unfortunately has a pretty depressing story. Last year, I was going through a very bad period of my life, filled with lots of anxiety. It mainly showed itself over a week where it would take me hours to fall asleep, and sometimes I would get barely any sleep whatsoever. While I'm pretty sure the period in which I had anxiety was larger than this, I don't think I realized it at the time, because it was relatively minor before and after that. During most of that period, I always felt like I had to push away the pain and "be strong". Thankfully, I'm okay now (aside from a bit of social anxiety lol), and I got a cool synthwave song out of it :)

If you feel like you’re not doing the greatest, try getting some form of therapy if possible. It definitely helped me a lot. If you are unable to do that, you can reach the National Mental Health Hotline by calling 866-903-3787.
