From Mexico City, Emmanuel Peregrina is the name behind Purpura. Raiding in electronic music since early 2000's, starting to listen and experiment with Progressive, Minimal, Techno and House; but finally until mids of 2007 that born this project.
Distinguished by his passion to analog "old school" sound, Purpura has been feel inspired from beginnings of his first tracks with hardware synths and outboard rack devices as well parallel digital tools, awekening like this the creativity and finding his own musical identity.
For more than a decade, Purpura has shared booths and spots with the best exponents of the underground ambience, performing in some festivals and clubes of local scene as well a few streaming shows like Ephimera Tulum and Love Signal by Lista, transmitted by YouTube platform. His Dj Sets covers a wide spectrum of sound possibilities in all danceable House styles and similar rhythms, adapting to the needs of the dancefloors, to keep the idea that the vibe of the people is the most important thing in a party. Julián Vallejo is the human behind on Ian Pöltter a conceptual artist and music researcher, originally from the Colombian white city (Popayan - Colombia) but Berliner soul; who since 2002 has managed to dive into the innovations of sound engineering, visual arts, sound creations and djing.

Sound transportations with the same musical center: Techno, creator of different tapestries of sound ranging from Micro, Deep, Tech until to Dub; supported by the consonant harmonies and static, the slow transformations as algorithmic processes of correct tempering that lead to objects of very high intellectual content, without neglecting its proximity to the origins aesthetics of Intelligent Techno from Basic Channel, Scion & Porter Ricks, or Minimal Wave from Linear Movement, Turquoise Days, Xeno & Oaklander and Eleven Pond of the 86. At the end a passionate purist musical rather than an egomaniac who wants to rank and transcend publicly.

Even though their sound creations often found under the pseudonym Ian Pöltter is also possible to find audible material by Ive Oppenheimer his alter ego, a soundtrack claustrophobic, intimate, slow and silent in which Pöltter ventures into creative processes of live act.

The timeless melancholy comes to tell us what is exclusively Dub Techno, it is clear that experimentation feels good to him, his obsession with wild nature and intensity that transmits a dawn are equally developed as moods, a smart and necessary linkage with the tradition of German music that refers to urban decay and pessimism; sounds of wet sidewalk at night, gray bricks and visibility reduced by fog. Silent, still and contemplative, Ive Oppenheimer manages to get the key to a hypnotic feeling that produces the Techno Dub lilting .

In recent years Ian Pöltter has turned into a more analog performance, such feeling is transmitted through its project Analog Salat, aboard a GL 2800, a lot of drum machines, DLys, chorus & reverbs, Pöltter exhibits its most important imaginative point; whatever the style, there is always a refined dancefloor sensibility, it is possible to find field recordings, analog processors and resonators sine waves, tissue spaces that gestate peaceful time zones, embodied in sound sculptures, resulting experiences when trying to find nature of the mind, man encounters with spirits, the pulsating fear of death, the spiral of detachment and thus the recurring return to silence, where the recognition of the nature clears the path to freedom.

A live act that incites the bodies, slowly and directly, between low rhythmic, soft and long touch bases with Break and Techno, dreams materials, routes of ether, silent illusions; delicate and ephemeral portraits of infinity. A performance with a variety of sounds and subtle experiences between Techno cold, heat and taste of the House; very thin and elegant as a precedent of modern textures, simple minimalist cuts, intense downloads synthesizers and powerful beats that bring us to the more cheerful and energetic music.

In Analog Salat, Pöltter as a mathematician by profession consolidates a project focused from the geometry of Techno: full of lines, angles, perspectives, organized forms smooth, very rational; although almost always it seems to escape the Euclidean logic with which we usually see objects even sound objects, a project that demonstrates that there are still proposals wherein the drum machine is the essence and soul of everything.

Today Ian Pöltter is part of The Ghost Brothers Project with the need to dabble in a performance back to back, a real one!

In a very discreet and very patient way on Ian Pöltter always exists musical experiments, sound designs that weave experiences of listening featuring an exploration of timbral universes and their relations with and in the time, a unique dose of rhythms and textures of music will be found innovative ...
