That battle sprite still kinda needs work (mostly that hand, cuz it looks goofy), but it's better atleast!

THIS style of thumbnail is based off of shiftshift. The screenshot, and all. The HP bar on the top is from Versus' Twoshift (formerly Terraformed).
So your soul is actually blue and has gravity by default. So the soul modes are instead potion effects or equipment (they alternate); Blue Soul is Leaping, Purple Soul is...different, I'll get more on that when i make Spider Dance. Green Soul is Shield, Yellow Soul is Crossbow (and punch-out). It's more like Undertale Yellow in that regard.
BDubs' attacks primarily consist of throwing potions at you (as do Scott's but uh). They can range from Poison to Weakness to Slowness, but most commonly Harming potions that are the main source of damage throughout the fight. The other 3 are introduced later. In addition, obstacles slowly scroll across, and if you get crushed, you take massive damage. He's also the wakeup call boss of BTWB, so that's neat.
BTW Martyn is Chara, not Frisk.

Mrs. Hemlocke (Erminie Hemlocke) takes the role of Ross, who in turn took the role of Papyrus. I could have easily made her corporeal but a piano ghost is way funnier. And yes she is strong enough to lug that thing around. And if she's strong enough to do that, then she is DEFINITELY strong enough to telekinetically push around Ash like paper. The Hemlockes aren't the "ruling" family, the family the servants...well, serve is now called the "Tzeches" and this alternate Whitepine is set in an analogue to Austro-Hungarian Bohemia, rather than 1900s England.

Erminie's battle uses the Blue soul, although it's closer to a much easier version of the Geno Sans battle than Papyrus' original fight due to her very frequent use of telekinesis to move your SOUL around in different directions, all while tossing things at you. Fun stuff. Considering Erminie's a ghost, you also can't actually kill her, the closest thing you can do in a 'betrayal kill' scenario is break her grand piano.

Colorshift uses the original UT battle style, in contrast to Achroma which closely resembled Omori's. An "Achromaswap" would probably take after the Mario RPGs.

ross' boss battle uses the purple soul, and he still uses a shovel as a "weapon" sort of meant to emulate earth-based magic
despite his front he puts up about being a protective vigilante, the real reason he wants to stop you from getting to whitepine mansion itself is to, in his words, prevent you from 'reliving the same experiences he went through'
...mostly involving the deaths of two people in and near the mansion

the boss fight is ross vs. serapter and ivory, ross does quite a lot of damage (but very little actual, physical harm) since ivory's 'health' is more so 'willingness to fight' than actual physical HP with the exception of a few fights
