So this mix was made for my lil/big man cousin Stephen Bentsi-Enchill on his birthday. It was a pretty cool spin on what is now the streaming era's version of 'No Vaseline'. I really like Kendrick but the peaceful African in me says that he went a tad too far but the Ares in me says that Drake got what he deserved but only time will tell about how hip-hop morphs as Kendrick as the undisputed boogeyman of rap now. I can't wait to see. So this is my form of a salute to Kendrick. Hope he hears it!!!

Saint Louis-based artist, songwriter, and producer Marvin Louis, blends his love for Hip-Hop/Rap, and R&B to make a very unique sound that takes the listener on a journey through life and his mind. With production inspired by the likes of Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Metro Boomin and more, he uses his witty metaphors, wordplay, soul capturing samples, and hard hitting drums to give his outlook on love, fear, money, God, life and death. 

His many inspirations come from his mother and father as well as listening to Gospel, Soul, Blues, and R&B. He found his calling as an adolescent when his older brother introduced him to 2Pac, Jay-Z, Scarface, etc. He then picked up a love for all genres of music including Rock, Reggae, Pop, and others. This not only enhanced his love for music, but it pushed him to aspire to be great, if not greater, than everyone he listened to or inspired him.
