"Musique Pour Enfiler Des Perles" is the third EP by Poison Gauchiste, aka Eric Labbé, following
"Musique Pour Faire Différentes Choses" and "Musique Pour Monter En Haut". It is the result of a slow maturation process, shaped by summer idleness and long winter evenings over the past two years. The EP features five compositions that, as always, blend quirky influences with distinctly personal oddities.

Track 5 “Bergerie” ("Sheepfold") is a kind of Balearic adventure: with its 100 BPM, acoustic guitar, and pizzicato strings mixed with dubby synths soaked in reverb, it clearly evokes a late afternoon sipping cocktails on a deserted beach.

Born in Russia and having completed his studies in composition and conducting at the
Conservatories of Saint-Petersburg, Lyon, and Paris, Vsevolod Polonsky now lives in France
and continues his career as a composer, orchestrator, and conductor. His work has been
recognized by several prestigious composers (Henri Dutilleux, Quatuor Molinari) and
conducting competitions (Besançon, Córdoba). He is the laureate of the Golden Mask Prize
(Moscow, 2010) for his work as conductor of the production Les Parapluies de Cherbourg.
Always drawn to theatrical and cinematic music, he has worked on various projects with
Michel Legrand, Vladimir Cosma, and stage directors and filmmakers Lev Dodine, Pierre
Strosser, and Alix Delaporte. He also collaborates closely with Evgueni and Sacha Galperine
as orchestrator and conductor, contributing to projects for EuropaCorp, HBO, Marvel, and
others. Polonsky is the author of numerous soundtracks for feature films and short films, as
well as for several exclusive licensing companies.
