The new Ep by Plaster is signed by Gianclaudio H. Moniri and Giuseppe Carlini, after they
decided to reform Plaster as a duo in 2023. The last time they worked together for a full release
was back in 2014. Clessidra can be considered, in fact, a work of renewed forces and energies.
It's concept is based on the Time, it's possibilities, variations and the reverse of itself.
Four are the tracks which fill this intense listening experience, L'ora Di Vetro, the opening track,
shows a vey muscular and minimalistic approach of the sounds, here everything is calibrated and well connected, this can be considered a classic Plaster song. Clessidra, the second track, it's a jump into new territories for the band, also supported by the fantastic voice of Valeria Svizzeri and the introduction of the didgeridoo, played by Giuseppe, as a rhythmic instrument. The approach of this track is quite unique and visionary.
The third track, Sospesi, is based on synthesizers sequences, guitars effects and atmospheric
layers, embellished by Giuseppe's flutes with a twisted and unexpected final.
La Chiave Del Silenzio, the closing track, is a globular layered and distorted piece of music.
Intriguing drones, distant percussions, small rhythmic sounds and a constant power which vibe
from the first beat to the end. Probably the most experimental of the Ep which sees again the
collaboration of Valeria Svizzeri for the vocal parts.
It’s hard to label this Ep with genres or proper styles but Clessidra, give doubtless a higher value to the Plaster’s discography, and it stand out for it’s incredible production.

Originally released in 2015, "Mainframe" emerged as the third album by Plaster on the esteemed Ukrainian label, Kvitnu. 
This particular release marked a significant shift, as it was the first to feature Gianclaudio Hashem Moniri as the sole creative force behind the project, following the personal departure of Giuseppe Carlini. 
This evolution in the lineup shaped "Mainframe" into a focused journey. 
The album became a direct conduit for Moniri's singular vision, meticulously crafting a sound that, as reviews from the time attested, delivers a visceral listening experience. 
It delves deep into the established territories of industrial and experimental electronic music, yet with an intensity and precision that pushes their boundaries, inviting listeners into its intricate, often abrasive, sonic landscapes.

The reissue of this album was initially slated for release some years ago, following Kvitnu's decision to cease their label activities in 2020. 
Subsequently, an Australian label expressed keen interest in bringing this new version to life. 
However, despite initial high hopes and considerable effort, a series of miscommunications and the unforeseen challenges of the Covid era unfortunately brought the project to a standstill.
In early 2025, determined to release his album via Textvra, Gianclaudio launched a GoFundMe campaign. 
The response was immediate and overwhelming: he secured the production budget in less than a month. 
"Mainframe re_coded" is not just a reissue, but a completely new vision. 
Envision a meticulously remastered sound, enriched with captivating bonus tracks, the raw energy of live recordings, and bold remixes by Franck Vigroux, Agan, and Kaeba that reimagine its very core.

In this milestone album, Plaster weaves complex, layered soundscapes where obsessive rhythms, abrasive distortions, and gloomy atmospheres merge into a hypnotic whole.
