I remember playing a gig at some place or other, years ago. It was late at night by the time I exited out to the street. The city had long gone to sleep. There were people standing outside a nearby bar smoking cigarettes, the orange glow of each smoldering end an uncanny echo of the streetlamps overhead. 

Now I realize those lamps were an echo too. An echo that had carried down through generations, from prehistoric ancestors huddled around dying-down cookfires, their only refuge from a darkness more absolute and unforgiving than any I've ever known.

Dadaism at its worst !

One's ability to speak does not necessarily depend on reading skills, yet reading can enhance speech proficiency, as can be observed in music.

The psychology of music delineates the phenomenon of experiencing goosebumps while listening to songs with rudimentary motifs and meaningless lyrics. However, developing a keen appreciation for music demands an amplification of one's understanding and perception. Personal preferences hold no weight in this regard.

It is erroneous to assume that a universally objective theory of music exists. The available music theories are predominantly limited to particular contexts such as the "Harmonic Style of 18th Century European Musicians" or "Schenkerian Analysis." Nonetheless, I do not adhere to any particular music theory in this context. Please enjoy.

What is music?  We used to know.  Now we're not sure.  Who are we?  What is they?

Passionné de musique, j'ai évolué entre le rock, la pop, le blues, le triphop et la musique électronique. Depuis ma découverte de la groovebox, jusqu'à Ableton, mon désir de faire de la musique ne m'a jamais quitté.

Né en 1982, j'ai acheté une guitare en 2018 pour m'amuser et explorer ma créativité musicale. Sans expérience, j'ai appris une poignée d'accords et voilà.
Je compose mes petites mélodies à l'instinct, sans théorie ni prétention. J'utilise aussi des programmes comme Ableton ou parfois même de l'intelligence artificielle pour intégrer mes paroles à la musique, ou parfois même pour développer une musique à partir d'échantillons que je crée à la guitare, au clavier virtuel ou même des enregistrements vocaux.
Je suis illustrateur et écrivain en métier principal.
