Hypothesis

Some drum piece for the prog/dark jazz enthusiast. Had so much fun writting those grooves. Enjoy.

Cycle of Culture - Experimental Prog-Jazz Quartet from Cracow (PL), defining their music as a fully conscious deconstruction of jazz. Founded by guitarist Bartłomiej "Żerca" Dziadosz and organist Bartosz Odziomek in 2022. The band’s unique ability to blend diverse musical influences results in soundscapes that are both innovative and rooted in tradition. Cycle of Culture embodies a musical philosophy grounded in the understanding and celebration of cyclicity, viewing music as an experience rich with history, drawing from the pool of world cultures where every moment transitions into the next, ultimately to fade away. The musicians, converging at the crossroads of their musical worlds, evoke stories while telling their own, reminding us that in music, as in life, everything comes full circle.

Big Bunga is a group of young musicians from Sweden with a morden beat jazz sound who met through their studies in music. The repertoire ranges from covers to original material.

Pianista nacido en la Ciudad de México, comienza sus estudios de piano a los 4 años de edad en la Academia Yamaha. Su formación como pianista de concierto, lo ha llevado a varios certámenes nacionales e internacionales como el Concurso Internacional de Piano “Ma. Clara Cullell” en San José, Costa Rica, el XV Concurso Internacional Para Jóvenes Pianistas y Música De Cámara en San Sebastián, España, así como la Bienal Internacional de Piano “Música Clásica Formal” en Mexicali, Baja California y el Concurso Regional de Piano “Manuel M. Ponce” donde obtuvo el 1er. Lugar en estos 2 últimos. 

Asistió en 2006 al Taller De Actualización Para Pianistas, bajo la tutela de los Maestros Hedi Salanki, Krassimira Jordan y Richard Reber en la Universidad de Costa Rica. Ha sido invitado como pianista en la Orquesta Sinfónica de Aguascalientes. En el desarrollo de su formación jazzística forma nuevos proyectos, tal es el caso de Pie Grande, P’ámani Trio, A támadók, entre otros. 

Se ha presentado en diversos foros importantes del país como el Ciclo de Jazz Mexicano MUAC (UNAM), Encuentro Regional de Jazz Centro-Occidente ’10 & ‘12, Aguas-Jazz Fest ’10 & ’11, Festival Internacional de Jazz Plaza ‘12 (La Habana, Cuba), Ocho Rios Jazz Festival ‘14 (Ocho Rios, Jamaica), Java Jazz Fest '15 (Jakarta, Indonesia), etc.

Ha tocado y compartido escenario con músicos como Pierre Bertrand, Todd Clouser, Aldo Bassi, Adrián Terrazas, Phil Grenadier, Tsuyoshi Niwa, Riccardo Di Vinci, Luri Molina, Gabriel Puentes, Flavio Boltro, Diego Piscitelli, Tony Monaco, Domenico Sanna, Lucio Ferrara, Gegé Munari, etc.

Ha tomado clases con pianistas como Mark Aanderud, Eugenio Toussaint, Lorraine Desmarais y Nicolás Santella.

Ha asistido al Tuscia in Jazz Festival (Lazio, Italia) y al Festival Internazionale Del Jazz De La Spezia, Italia, donde recibió clases de Kevin Hays, Dave Kikoski y Aaron Goldberg.
