We're pleased to present the live recording of Winnipeg's legendary Bambz from our Proper Bassline night on January 17, 2025 at Side Stage.

Back in the late 90's/early 2000's, Bambz was one of Winnipeg's favorite DJ's and a speed garage master. He also founded and ran NYCE Records, the city's best dance music record store, which was hugely responsible for not only shaping Winnipeg DJ's musical taste, but the taste of the underground music scene overall. 

Having Bambz come out of retirement for this event was a real treat, we hope you enjoy this set as much as we did.

Next up on our Live at Proper series, we have ZANZ recorded live at Proper Vol.5 on March 21, 2025 at Public Domain in Winnipeg. 

ZANZ comprises of Nathan and Kelly Zahn, the fierce duo behind many underground dance music events in Winnipeg, including the long running annual summer festival MEME - Manitoba Electronic Music Exhibition. ZANZ brought the heat to the dance floor with this set and we're thrilled share it for your listening pleasure.
