London label BienAimer takes on 2021 brilliantly with a four tracker from REda daRE called Rabzouz. With infectious sounds leading to escapism from ordinary days and mindsets the Parisian-producer enraptures (party) people and DJs in the same way and provides one in a (robot)soulful manner with music made and designed for a tremendous event. While the EP's title track Rabzouz comes with a remix from Oden & Fatzo, it's the almost hidden b2, Braindance, that eats into ones mind, musically – of course. Deep chords over a classy house-driven bassline and some well-implemented vocals that prompt you to move right here & right now Braindance most likely got its name from the skillfully and selectively added Acid-bleeps that make one's brain wander around those and dance in circles.

Shortly after their 4th anniversary festivities at fabric/ London, BienAimer releases the third volume of their various artist compilation Da East Grooves, which is a potpourri of artists representing the label’s unique sound - a sound BienAimer has established over the years quite successfully. The eight-tracker comes with contributions from French Space Cowboys Oden & Fatzo, label-mainstay REda daRE and many others, with each track cutting deeper into the deepness of arps and pads, with some tracks aiming to create peak time moments while others prepare the latter with intriguing chord sequences and lush bass lines. The MO-OB and SES label owner Moises does just that with his Soundtisfaction track. In Moises spheric all-rounder chords and pad sequences alternate and create different atmospheres that are connected but foremost held together by the groovey bass line. However, it’s the deepness between and within that makes Soundtisfaction a blissful affair for the dance, for the floors and wherever it is played out.

Torture the Artist is a webzine, or a magazine made for the internet, geared towards those with a passion for contemporary electronic music, with subgenres including Techno, Tech House, Deep House and Eletronica, as well as a small amount of Indie and Alternative. Founded in 2014 by Holger Breuer, a German native and lover of the arts, Torture the Artist now consists of ten team members from all around the world.

In addition to publishing interviews, music reviews, DJ charts and track premieres, the webzine hosts out a bi-monthly podcast series called 'art:casts'. This medium gives DJs and producers the artistic freedom to highlight their different musical styles while not being restricted by factors such as setting, and connecting them to a wider audience. 

Being in its sixth year, Torture the Artist has gained a strong and active online support group, including music enthusiasts to label managers and artists themselves, creating a cohesive community with music as their bond.

Signatune Records is a  London-based record label, producing the finest electronic and house music. We aim to grow rapidly and stay dedicated to the principles and art that we love by combining London's finest talent with friends from Paris.

Do As You Please is a Manchester based independent that has set out to deliver a variety of musical styles and support up and coming talent. Venturing to new territory, the brand has sights on gathering a strong artistic community and releasing music through the in-house label - showcasing what’s good in the UK underground.

In a time of fast fashion and disposable culture, the label seeks to showcase art with character and longevity. The ethos is based around unlimited stylistic boundaries and strives to deliver quality first and foremost. The artwork has been curated by two invaluable members of the Mancunian graphic design community, Trevor Johnson & John Walsh. Both designers were staple parts of the Hacienda and FAC51 artwork team and have continued to share their talent and experience in the Manchester community since.

1990 not only means the year I was born, but also a period of growing creativity in electronic music. Everything seemed to be possible on this period, and unexplored borders of music were now being unrevealed. Many do consider this period as the beginning of a global Dance Music scene. A movement with no borders, including people from all ages, sexual orientations, countries and different kinds of backgrounds. It was also the soundtrack and the movement that followed the unification of west and east Europe. This is a tribute to this Era and its sound.
