From stabs shot-through with real soul in opener ‘Ecstasy’, the trippy acid-infused ‘Supreme’, and floor-filling vocal cut ‘Feel’ through to the peak-time energies in ‘Pain’, wonky sequences of title track ‘Praise’, and strobe-light-inducing workout ‘Time’ - this is a release that offers something for everyone. Uncertain’s ‘Praise’ is an album that accelerates in tempo but maintains a constant machine funk that will undoubtedly resonate with both dancefloor and DJ.

Active since 1989 as Boriqua Tribez and known as Uncertain since 2018, he has made a name for himself with diverse productions that have made him one of Beatport’s top-selling techno artists while his fast-paced three-deck mixing and dancefloor storytelling fuel his tours abroad. Across the last three decades, he’s worked on over fifty releases on labels like Truncate, Beard Man, Illegal Alien, and Mind Medizin, with three prior appearances on Rekids’ RSPX offshoot. His previous two EPs on Radio Slave’s RSPX won the support of notable acts like DJ Bone, Ben Sims, Elisa Bee, Rodhad, Alienata, and many more, with the ‘Praise’ LP seeing Uncertain once again on top form for the celebrated techno imprint.

Radio Slave’s 2008 ‘Grindhouse’ feat. Danton Eeprom has a new mix from Italy’s Vaert and shifts from its original home on Rekids to Techno-orientated oﬀshoot RSPX in late February. Having previously been remixed by Danton Eeprom, Len Faki, Nic Fanciuli, Obscure Shape & SHDW, Slam, and notably Dubfire, who provided an iconic interpretation, the 2025 release emerges with a distinctly Melodic Techno lean.

Seventeen years on from its original drop, Afterlife and HABITAT artist Vaert’s remix of Radio Slave’s ‘Grindhouse’ feat. Danton Eeprom supersizes each element and roughens the beat by crunching its bassline with heavy distortion. Reminiscent of Dubfire’s hugely influential ‘Terror Planet’ mix of ‘Grindhouse’, Vaert briefly oﬀsets the track’s rampaging bass with lush pads before the original’s mind-altering synths blow the roof oﬀ, Eeprom’s vocal sample oﬀering something to hold onto throughout this dancefloor-primed cut.
