Here we go with the truly amazing live ambient set by Richard von der Schulenburg as RVDS at our Krake Festival in June 2023. Richard brought along an extensive setup of machines and instruments to bless the garden audience with a wondrous journey through beautiful layers of sound, melodies and gentle rhythms. „Snuffo in Santanyí“ is a radio show on @threadsradio.
It is hosted by German Electronic Music producer, live act and label owner: Snuffo. The format is recorded in his studio in the village of Santanyí on the island of Mallorca, Spain. 

On episode #81, Snuffo welcomes Richard von der Schulenburg a.k.a. RVDS with a guest mix. 

The Hamburg-based artist is a man of many talents and a DJ with an absolutely eclectic music taste.

He played in bands like »Die Sterne« and 440 Hz Trio and composed music for theaters. As RVDS he releases  on great labels such as Bureau B, Smallville, or Pudel Produkte . 

Richard is also well-known as a resident DJ of legendary Golden Pudel Club in Hamburg. 
And under the moniker Riccardi Schola, he lives his passion for Italo Disco.

KRAKE is an annual Berlin based fes­ti­val for chal­leng­ing elec­tronic music. Krake means octo­pus and the fes­ti­val is organ­ised in a com­pa­ra­ble way: reach­ing out to selected loca­tions dur­ing one week pre­sent­ing the best in elec­tronic music, what­ever style it is.

The fes­ti­val is not huge, not expen­sive, does not have big spon­sor­ing deals or four dif­fer­ent colour area passes. It’s just a good and so far suc­cess­ful try to bring back the focus on artists who dare to step off the beaten tracks.
