A release from our beloved friend from the North who's primarily a dancer and a good supporter in our community in Bangkok, but later we found out that he's also a great producer as well!

The first track on the EP Ants And Birds, a dancefloor track, full of grooves, colours from melodies, as well as, being experimental at the same time. 100% dancefloor roller.

Next up Golden planet, filled with darker tones and a deep dive into sound design, this one doesn't get boring.

The EP is closed with a remix of Golden Planet from label head Sarayu still keeping with the dark driving theme, but will set you on a percussive rolling journey.

More Rice returns with its ninth release and second vinyl drop of the year, delivering a heavy-hitting EP from label co-founder Sarayu. The Don. Mueang. marks his first full solo release on the label since 2021, reaffirming his distinct voice in Asia’s underground dance scene.

The A side features two peak-time weapons: no nonsense, bass-driven influenced techno rollers built with the dancefloor firmly in mind and straight to the point.

On the flip, trusted More Rice regulars step in on remix duties. O-Wells reimagines Don Vito Bingus with a warm, rolling take that leans into house and tech house territory, giving the track a smoother, hypnotic swing. Mogwaa closes out the EP with his Fiesta Mix — an electrified, rhythm-forward version that does exactly what it says on the tin: it bangs.

The views from the aeroplane were hard to believe, the scale of the deep blue as it disappeared into the great beyond was staggering. The endless abyss of the limitless sky.

Clouds were sparse yet every time he caught a glimpse of one he’d try to create a mental image or a sense of perspective as to what they were, floating against the backdrop of the opal sky.

He imagined a great dragon, a frightening beast roaring through the sky with a mighty myriad of colours cascading from its magnificent wings.

It was all magic up here.

Sarayu is set to release an EP on More Rice – a wiggly, techy beauty of an EP which combines lots of fast paced, glitchy elements to craft a deep, pensive groove.
