Earl Peanutt Montgomery is a legendary songwriter and musician from Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He hails from a musical family that include brother Carl and sister Melba Montgomery. Peanutt was part of the group of musicians that established the Muscle Shoals recording scene in the early 1960s, playing on records by Arthur Alexander. He later became George Jones’ right hand man, band leader and wrote more than 70 songs for him. Some of his biggest hits include “One Of These Days” (George Jones, Emmylou Harris), “What’s Your Mama’s Name” (Tanya Tucker), “California Cottonfields” (Merle Haggard, Tanya Tucker), “We’re Gonna Hold On” (George Jones & Tammy Wynette) and “Sally Sue Brown” (Arthur Alexander, Bob Dylan). Peanutt and his wife Charlene wrote the book The Legend of George Jones about their time with Jones and their adventures were depicted in the TV shows George & Tammy and Tales From The Tour Bus. Tribute to “Queens of Country Music”, Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Reba McEntire, Kitty Wells, &Tammy Wynette, based on their influence, achievements, and legacy.

Dolly Parton, a global icon since the 1970s, Dolly has sold over 100 million albums, won countless awards (including Country Music Hall of Fame induction in 1999), and inspired generations with hits like "Jolene" and "9 to 5." She’s also a philanthropist and cultural legend.  

Loretta Lynn, a pioneer of autobiographical songwriting, Lynn broke barriers with feminist anthems like "The Pill" and "Coal Miner’s Daughter." She was the first woman to win the CMA Entertainer of the Year and remains a symbol of resilience.  

Patsy Cline, the first solo woman inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, Cline’s timeless vocals ("Crazy," "I Fall to Pieces") bridged country and pop. She defied norms by wearing pants onstage at the Grand Ole Opry.  

Reba McEntire, with 75 million albums sold, 25 No. 1 hits, and a career spanning music, TV, and film, Reba is a powerhouse. She won the CMA Entertainer of the Year in 1986 and remains a Nashville legend.  

Kitty Wells, the original "Queen of Country Music," made history in 1952 with "It Wasn’t God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels," the first No. 1 by a female artist. She paved the way for women in the genre.  

Tammy Wynette, known as "The First Lady of Country Music", became the first woman in country music to sell over one million albums and amassed 20 #1 singles on the Billboard country charts. She has sold over 30 million records worldwide, won three consecutive CMA Female Vocalist of the Year awards, and received two Grammy Awards, including Best Female Country Vocal Performance for "Stand by Your Man". She earned a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024 & was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Fundada em 06 de março de 1980, a União Fm 105.3 é a trilha sonora de diversas gerações. A programação traz as principais informações do dia e músicas que misturam clássicos e novidades. Tudo isso apresentado com muita descontração pelo time de comunicadores da rádio.

Atualmente o sinal da 105.3 chega aos ouvintes da grande Porto Alegre, passando pelo Litoral, Serra, Vales do Sinos, Paranhana, Caí e Jacuí.

A União Fm também está presente no sul do estado. Em 2007, a emissora fundou uma filial em Pelotas: a 99.9 FM. A União FM Zona Sul abrange uma área de 13 municípios. São eles: Amaral Ferrador, Arroio do Padre, Canguçu, Capão do Leão, Cerrito, Morro Redondo, Pedro Osório, Pelotas, Piratini, Rio Grande, São José do Norte, São Lourenço e Turuçu.

Desde abril de 2021, a Rede União Fm ampliou a atuação para Santa Catarina. Crazy Chester Records is an independent record label based in Muscle Shoals AL and Nashville TN. It is owned by record producer Andreas Werner. Home of the Crazy Chester Radio Hour music talk podcast.

Hi, I started out singing in the 60's. I played in several groups, made a few records. Never went fully pro just played youth clubs, pubs, and socials. 

I play a little guitar and piano just mainly chords and I write a few songs. I purchased a Tyros work station keyboard about 14 years ago and started recording many songs mainly covers. Hope you enjoy listening to some of them.
