Sound design work for the Champalimaud Foundation Annual Symposium 2024. CF Symposium rotates annualy between Neuroscience and Cancer research. I was asked to create a sound identity to accompany the visual aspect of the event. Several sounds were created with the use of analogue synthesis equipment and virtual instruments and sequenced and processed in Ableton Live.

The several phases consisted of a Save the Date; a Launch; the Call for Abstracts; Meet the Experts; Call for Volunteers; an Abstracts Extension and finally the Registrations opening. The video animations were created by Champalimaud´s graphic designer Carla Emilie.

The sound concept followed the graphic design progressing over several months through the several stages of registration to the event. We introduced minimal elements of sound design which are now part of the CF Symposium 2024 theme song used on the opening session.

He has released 4 albums, 3 EPS and 2 singles in his lifetime. He also gained a following on all his accounts. over 2,000 followers all added up. Aaron Mackenzie has several merch pieces and is known for his music being unusual and not like the rest of them. He is a massive fan of Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey, Adele and Rihanna. He has also become a bit of a Swiftie.

Hi my name is Brandon Larratt,im songwriter(guitarist/bassist/keyboardist) and producer from Henderson Nv. In short,i make warm and inviting music everything from rock/indie/ funk/ R&b and fusion music.

I am a recording engineer, a sound designer and a field recorder, an electronic musician and audiovisual technician. I compose, record, mix and master. I work with electronic generated soundscapes using synthesizers and field recordings. 

As an engineer I focus on modern recording and mixing techniques, audio formats, analog, digital and web audio, A/D & D/A conversions, analogue tape restoration, storage, archival & digitization.
