Welcome to “Alicante”! We are not talking about the beautiful Spanish harbor city on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea but the first joint single by German Lo-Fi heavyweight LESKY and UK guitarist Waywell for Melting Pot Music. 

The two met in Tbilisi, Georgia where they shared a studio space. LESKY’s chilled but crisp production and Waywell’s dreamy guitar riffs were a perfect match from scratch! After a few weeks of long night-time sessions, they had crafted a new hybrid sound that we call Lo-Fi yacht pop. A wavy mix of Lo-Fi and cosmic with a subliminal yacht rock vibe. You don't have to take it too seriously, but it is the perfect soundtrack for imaginary beach cruises and pool parties alike.

The two expats met in Tbilisi, Georgia where they shared a studio space. LESKY’s chilled but crisp production and Waywell’s dreamy guitar riffs were a perfect match from scratch! After a few weeks of long night-time sessions, they had crafted a new hybrid sound that we call lofi yacht pop. A wavy mix of lofi and cosmic with a subliminal yacht rock vibe. You don't have to take it too seriously, but it is the perfect soundtrack for imaginary beach cruises and pool parties alike. The EP ‘Whitecaps’ will be released on Dec 10th via Melting Pot Music.
