Heckler & Koch developed the UMP as a lighter and cheaper successor to the MP5, though both remain in production. The UMP has been adopted for use by various countries including Brazil, Canada, and the United States. A small number of UMPs chambered in .45 ACP were officially purchased by the 5th Special Forces Group of the United States Army Special Forces, with some of the weapons seeing limited service in the early years of the Iraqi insurgency, making them among the small number of submachine guns deployed by the U.S. military in recent conflicts. Despite the UMP’s improvements and reduced cost, it did not replace the MP5, which ended up outselling the UMP.

The MP7 Silenced Sound is the sound of the Heckler & Koch MP7 with an attached silencer (suppressor). It is a personal defense weapon chambered for the HK 4.6×30mm armor-piercing cartridge. It was designed by German defence manufacturer Heckler & Koch to meet NATO requirements published in 1989. The MP7 went into production in 2001, and is a direct rival to the FN P90, also developed in response to NATO’s requirement by Belgian company FN Herstal. The weapon has been revised since its introduction and the latest production variants are the MP7A1 and MP7A2. The MP7 uses a short-stroke piston gas system as is used on H&K’s G36 and HK416. The 4.6×30mm ammunition is exclusive to the gun and offers low recoil.

The SCAR-H Silenced Sound is the sound of the FN SCAR (Special Operations Forces Combat Assault Rifle) with an attached silencer (suppressor). It is a family of gas-operated short-stroke gas piston automatic rifles developed by Belgian manufacturer FN Herstal in 2004. It is constructed with modularity for the United States Special Operations Command to satisfy the requirements of the SCAR competition. This family of rifles consist of two main types. The SCAR-L, for “light”, is chambered in 5.56×45mm NATO and the SCAR-H, for “heavy”, is chambered in 7.62×51mm NATO. Both are available in Close Quarters Combat (CQC), Standard (STD), and Long Barrel (LB) variants. The SCAR was one of the weapons displayed to U.S. Army officials during an invitation-only Industry Day on 13 November 2008.

The FN 509 Silenced Sound is the sound of the FN 509 with an attached silencer (suppressor). It is a polymer frame striker-fired semi-automatic pistol manufactured in Columbia, South Carolina, by FN America, a division of FN Herstal. It is chambered in 9×19mm Parabellum featuring double-action operation and a Picatinny rail located forward of the trigger guard. Tactical, midsize, and compact variants have also been made available. The FN 509 is a striker-fired handgun with a stainless steel slide with ferritic nitrocarburizing finish and a polymer frame. Black and flat dark earth colorings are available. Barrel length is 4.0 inches. The slide has serrations on both front and back, for easy slide manipulation.

The CheyTac M200 Silenced Sound is the sound of the CheyTac Intervention with an attached silencer (suppressor), also known as the CheyTac M200. It is an American bolt-action sniper rifle manufactured by CheyTac USA, which can also be classified as an anti-materiel rifle. It is fed by a 7-round detachable single-stack magazine (an optional 5-round magazine is also available). It is specifically chambered in either .408 Chey Tac or .375 Chey Tac ammunition. CheyTac Inc. states that the system is capable of delivering sub-MOA accuracy at ranges of up to 2,286 m. It is based on the EDM Arms Windrunner.
