From the first note in the pale light of dawn,
through silent seas, distant bells, and rain that falls like glass,
to the warmth of a luminous memory and the final drift into feathered light —
this neo-classical piano album is both a map and a mirror.

It is for those who have wandered,
for those who are still wandering,
and for those who have finally found that the wanderer was always themselves.


Prologue

There is no map for this journey.
It begins before the first step —
in the hush before dawn,
when the air itself seems to wait
for something only you can hear.

You carry no luggage,
only the weight of moments
you never thought would matter.
The road before you is not paved,
but made of light and shadow,
of rain that falls upward,
of waves that whisper your name.

And somewhere ahead,
a figure walks, luminous against the horizon —
not a stranger,
but the shape of your own becoming.

🔻 Personal Reflection

I wrote this song after one too many nights replaying old mistakes and missed exits, both real and metaphorical. “How Many Rights Done Wrong” came from the push-pull of wanting to do better, but feeling like every direction just leads back to the same spot. It’s a nod to all the times I took the wrong turn, hoping somewhere down the line it would make sense—or at least make for a good story. If you’ve ever felt stuck at life’s crossroads, you’ll hear a piece of yourself in this one.

Our music is about transforming lived pain into a shared, relatable journey—finding beauty (and a little dark humor) in the confusion. “How Many Rights Done Wrong” is another page in the story of learning, unlearning, and finding meaning in the middle of chaos. The goal: turn life’s wrong turns into a map for someone else to find their way home.

This episode starts off quite hypnotic with after about 10 minutes kicking off into a more raw and groovy style. λ (Anonymous Function) is the solo project of Reinier from @dasmanier, devoted to the raw, hypnotic essence of techno. Inspired by the temporary nature of the anonymous (or lambda) function in programming, meaning 'created, executed, and gone without a trace'. λ (Anonymous Function) embodies the same ephemerality on the dancefloor.
