Man of the hour X-Coast kicks off our ZeeZout advent calendar with his set from ZeeZout Festival 23. The Serbian-born who’s now hailing all the way from Brooklyn shows us once again why his versatility is taking him from stage to stage across the globe, seamlessly blending influences from all kinds of genres, blending disco samples into playful, upbeat tech-house grooves. Once again affirming the timeless talent of these two artists, this fast-paced, tongue-in-cheek extravaganza barely drops below 140 BPM and would probably work just as well in a dark, steamy club as it did in our beloved little Corner on the 2nd of September. Continuing our advent series, we're delighted to showcase the dynamic duo of Skatebård and our very own David Vunk—brothers in arms who require little introduction. What we would like to emphasize once more however, is that we will never get enough of Mr. Bård’s infectious smile and the Vunkinator’s precision in delivering rhythmic movements. Balancing between gritty electro loops and euphoric synths while not holding back on the light-hearted disco and italo vibes, this set might be exactly what ZeeZout Festival was all about if you’d ask us. Topping off the year in style is Bristol-based Danielle – it’s safe to call her a ZeeZout mainstay by now. Seamlessly blending from euphoric house to quirky 303 melodies, driving basslines, and even some early hardcore-inspired ravey breakbeats, it's not hard to imagine how our beloved Tunnel was bursting at its seams during her set at ZeeZout Festival.
