If anyone can capture the vibes of NACHTI, it's Elias Mazian. He's been a fixture and a friends to Olganitz for many years. You could recognize one of his sets with your eyes closed; @eliasmazian loves blending top influences with house, always with a touch of sentimentality and never veering into the cheesy territory (well, sometimes. A little.). Not only is Elias a fantastic DJ, but he's also a gifted producer, as he demonstrated with the "NV02" vinyl release on Nachtiville, a few copies of which you can still find in our shop. On the lakeside stage, he undoubtedly created plenty of hands-up moments, and we hope his set can still bring a smile to your face even now.

Crack Mix 528: Perel

MUTEK Montréal is a multi-venue celebration of digital creativity held in the city’s cultural heart. 

Each year, the festival devotes itself to platforming artists and thinkers working across electronic music, sound and visual arts, and invites them to come together in Canada’s second largest city for a sprawling six days of events.

Today, we’re presenting a two-part live mix series, recorded at the festival’s 24th edition earlier this year. Every bit of bright and vibrant as its accompanying artwork, this recording from scene staple Jennifer Cardini harnesses the energy of festival season and transports it direct to your speakers. 

"MUTEK was the highlight of my summer, the energy in that beautiful room was amazing and it was an absolute honour to be invited to share the stage with so many artists I love," says Cardini. "Hope you can feel that in this mix." Serious fun guaranteed.

Continuing our advent series, we're delighted to showcase the dynamic duo of Skatebård and our very own David Vunk—brothers in arms who require little introduction. What we would like to emphasize once more however, is that we will never get enough of Mr. Bård’s infectious smile and the Vunkinator’s precision in delivering rhythmic movements. Balancing between gritty electro loops and euphoric synths while not holding back on the light-hearted disco and italo vibes, this set might be exactly what ZeeZout Festival was all about if you’d ask us. Friends making friends dance.
