His rewiring of a song made famous by a chocolate advert to a guitar-propelled Afro groove was inspired. The minute she received the promo, Amal Nemer asked us for the parts; she wanted to turn this daytime party moment into a late-night deep roller. As she is one of our favourite DJs, we could hardly refuse! Fast-forward a few months to ADE, and Amal is DJing alongside Hugel at the W Hotel's exclusive Room#339 party. A deep percussive jam weaves into the mix before Simon Ellis' superb vocals drop into view. Amal turns and smiles, and we experience this killer rework for the first time. What a jam.
