Well, I'm usually so busy with that part that I can't even appreciate what little bits of genius are in there (yeah, I'm a cocksucker fuck you) until years later-- usually, it involves the percussion, talking in particular about Lasst Train Ride and Hippin' Hoppin'-- and then I look like a braggart, but hey, if it's WORTH bragging about fuck you.

This melody isn't even true to the dream I heard it in, but I was so terrible at figuring out if I was harmonizing or actually getting it right that it ended up like this instead. The real one was in MAJOR for crying out loud

I actually composed something, holy shit! And it isn't too long-winded and samey like Gusty Woods before it! this is a huge deal for me :D I'm pretty proud atm, and I hope that doesn't change between now and later ' - '

I also made that character design. The shutters around the eye are exactly what they look like-- flexible shutters that follow dude's pupil, which as you can kinda tell is a concave shape. The pointy parts you see are gold and shiny. The rest is a shade of blue similar to the background, and has a texture akin to somebody's tongue.

the other local ruffian dumbassmug was asked by me to transcribe a melody I'd heard in a dream and recorded but too gets queasy listening to isolated vocals to transcribe it myself, so he did it for me like a little bitch and added some generic accompaniment afterward
then he gave me two wav's for the finished product, with an extra .wav for just the lead/basic transcription, which sounded familiar to my ears but i had actually forgotten completely, so I could do something with it myself, and then I transcribed it, by ear of course because I'm fucking shit at music theory, then spent the next couple hours making it sound incredibly neat but also more disjointed compared to his version.

Q: Why do I use the Wario Land 4 soundfont to some capacity for so many tracks?
A: Because I love the way it sounds, obviously. Half the reason why I'll start making a MIDI in the first place is that I want to hear what it'd sound like with the Wario Land 4 soundfont.
