The first 111 tracks are taken directly from my pal goawayface's Likes list, because that man has exquisite taste in tunes, and as such serves as a fab test audience*. 
From track 112 up until around 125, it's me trying to predict which would end up on his list, which is harder than it sounds, because sometimes he'd throw me a curveball. Yer gonna be goddamn sure that it's a highlight, though, if it's on here.

*Or he did. Fat fuck ghosted me >:( for being a needy cunt, granted :/. but it made me a better person in the long run. I'm still needy don't get me wrong, but I'm less obnoxious now than I was. Doesn't mean I don't still wish he had chosen a method of excommunication besides flat-out stopping ;(

I discovered the composer for this game has a Twitter (@AudioMyo) today. And I literally indirectly mentioned this project while replying to a post he'd made (about motivation and how it can completely vanish in a really short amount of time, and how you have to sort of work on it w/o the motivation before you can become motivated again), because it was relevant to the topic. This was not lost on me one bit. 
...I sent him a link to my vgmusic page, I hope he appreciates the .mid. Oh, and, uh, not in the-- god that sounds really psychopathic. I just want the respect of the people that have MY respect okay ; __;

BTW, the name is a play on "Monsoon Jungle" and that the Ignika was prone to fucking with animals (and poor little Dekar ;_;) for the sake of protection, creating various monstrous creatures to achieve this end-- such is the alleged "Backson" Pooh and friends thought up as a result of Christopher Robin's atrocious spelling.

Fun fact: I originally made it 74bpm because I wanted the "Indoor version" to be a Cleanin' Out My Closet MIDI I got online, initially. However, if that were the case, we wouldn't have the Indoor version I published. ...Maybe COMC will still make an appearance, perhaps as the replacement track for Mystic Lake's CD?

(He told me this version makes for even better sleeping music than the original when I showed it to him, and to that I say "pleasant dreams my friend")

For this song, I wanted to get that sort of swing that Mystic Lake's indoor section has, while at the same time not having to change the actual song itself too much. I think it turned out pretty well, and I think MS did, as well. Edit: in response to JAWF's critique, I altered the swing for the arpeggio, and now it's been rid of that slight awkwardness. Edit 2: updated the mp3 to be the SynthFont version, as not only is it more up-to-date, but the EP also sounds WAY cooler.

I've been thinking about the WL4 composer's Hip-Hop influences a lot recently, and the other day as I was falling asleep my brain formed some catchy hip-hop riff to go along with some hypothetical Eminem tune ((woahhh dude, my laptop recognizes that name in spell check)), which became the lead as it sounds during the chorus.

Edit: it actually makes a lot of sense that this accompanied an Em song, because in retrospect this "backing track" sounds Dre as fUCK, nyigga

After all was said & done, it turned out that my laptop mic is SO shitty that it caused MULTIPLE crackling noises for NO goddamn reason. However, modern problems require modern solutions, SO. After I finished recording the audio for stupidface's masterpiece, I put a Walkie-Talkie filter over it, then made a custom reverb setting to emulate the feeling of listening to a tape deck laid out on a nearby piece of furniture-- I like to imagine a really drab bed in an otherwise completely bare, dark-grey room; look at that room from the Amen Break documentary on YouTube to see what I mean.

I can see now why my brother thought Noah Munck was me when I played "regular guy" for him.
